You just reminded me! I was actually furious that I didn't get to chew him out for that. But things got better from there, so it kind of slipped to the back of my mind. I can threaten Liara's dad for even implying that the Matriarch's might order a hit on Liara, but I can't beat the crap out of my subordinate for almost killing the whole team, including Liara?

I'd say the removal of too many dialogue options was to the detriment of the game, but not significantly.

I have a problem..

I have loved Ashley in ME1 (Dumb Choice i know..)
but when i saw liara in ME1 i fell in love too
i still chose to romance Ashley
so at ME1 i loved Ashley and Liara.
At ME2 Ashley and Liara werent in the game. So i Fell in Love with Tali.
and less with Ashley cuz she ****ed at me at Horizon.

I romanced Tali in ME2

at ME3 i fell in love with Liara again. But i also love Tali
i chose to Romance Tali.
but i still love Liara. i rly have to make hard descisions in my Mass effect carreer...

I love Tali and Liara at the same time.
But i have to choose one.
i dont know how to decide..

I paragoned Vega during that talk.  It was nice seeing Leia take his ass down with the paragon throw at the end.  I ended up liking Vega at the end.  He just pissed me off on Mars.  Liara almost got rammed by the Cerberus shuttle.  And Shepard wasn't the one picking her up either.  .  At least Kaidan as her back.  Then Kaidan gets it from Dr. Eva.  Which took me three tried before I took Eva out.

If you really can't decide then do multiple playthroughs with different LI's (just be sure to quit the game before the actual ending) and then figure out which you like best. By posting your question in this thread you already know the answer most of us will give you anyway

Depends on who you want to try and romance first. I'm led to believe you cannot start a new romance with Tali in Mass Effect 3 if you did not romance her in Mass Effect 2 but I do not know this for sure. To really appreciate the romances I'd recommend experiencing the whole story so that means romance Tali in Mass Effect 2 and have it carry over in ME3. Same goes for Liara. 'Mance her from ME1, reaffirm your relationship in Lotsb and continue it in ME3. Again the same for Ashley.

Keep us updated on your eventual choice. It's always nice to see new people who appreciate Liara's character, be that as Shepard's friend or lover.

Same here.. I didn't take the cheap shots, not my style. I can't imagine why Shepard rushed to Vega and not Liara when the shuttle finally came down. Imported FemShep dealt with Eva in the first instance, lousy regenerating shields infiltration unit.

Anyway, I wonder if anyone else found it mildly annoying that we could tell Vega and Traynor that, "No, I'm with Liara, thank you very much". I mean I loved the Lola thing, but then she flirted back, and called him out on his flirting and I went... uh what?

But I think his cabin talk scene worked out for the best.

Vega : "Are you flirting with me?

Does anyone know if it's possible to call Liara into your quarters AFTER you romance her on the Citadel? Will it change some dialogue lines, because she says 'you have been a good friend'. In case someone is confused I am talking about when she sends you a message about wanting to show you her project.

No, the project is independent of relationship status.

Check the dev posts. Shepard is a good friend to Liara, whether or not Liara is Shepard's lover. I think it was alright, could have done with the suggested scene where relationship is simply acknowledged by having Liara rest her head on Shepard's shoulder, but it's all right. Yeah, Shepard needed a "I'm with Liara...leave me alone!" sign on her back.

Well, I've briefly played my Femshep, who Liara walked out on. It seems, again, LOTSB doesn't have any effect on ME3 beyond references. Shepard and Liara are getting close, and romance dialogue can be given, despite what happened. I'm even told, despite players breaking up with Liara in LOTSB, the Liara romance is still going in ME3, unless you shut it down there. Which sounds like a roleplayer's nightmare.

I might just consider making a non-romanced version of Femshep, just so I can get the right version of the romance I wanted.

Yup, I mean I was cool with Samantha using the shower, even though she shouldn't be more important than the rest of the crew, especially those two lasses guarding the door.. But for her to leave the door open, and for Shep to say nothing? pfffffft

On a side note, I want to call Liara's hanar half sister polyp.

Yeah, i romanced my femshep with Liara in ME1 and Garrus in ME2 and when i first met in Mars, it had the same romance dialogue, first i thought wait didnt i told you that im with Garrus now.

LOTSB is a bug in ME3, the romance/stuff you leant [i.e. helping Liara become the SB] doesn't carry on into ME3 as the plot value isn't tagged

I supported Joker when I saw the arguement, as I was curious myself.

There was a bug with LOTSB romance flag, which was false and even if you fix that, it still dont give much.

Well that is going to take a long long time then.
im not going to romance Ashley for sure.

i think i will wait till the new DLC comes out and see the ending with tali. and then i will redo that with Liara.

I can't actually remember WHEN it happens but it happens in Liara's room. If I'm correct(but I highly doubt that) it's after the mission on Palaven.
