I'm coming up on TIM's base. Can't wait to be with my blue love soon.

Anyway, OT... I decided to quickly question Hackett and see what he has to say about GR. I've got 99% GR and about 6700 EMS. I asked him about Cerberus/TIM and get the option to say 'what if he's right?' in regards to control...

Shep's voice is way messed up and totally shaky/doubtful when she asks. Sounds like indoctrination to me. I've never heard her speak like that. Ever! It was totally OOC - or maybe it wasn't. *queue ominous music.

Hackett: "There is only one way we defeat the Reapers, no more Reapers."

Shep: "What if Illusive Man is right?" (not verbatim but what is on the wheel)

Hackett: "Kill him. That's an order."

Psycho Renagon FemShep has even more resolve.

Now to go get some quality time with my blueberry and forget all about this war crap for a bit.

Wow I didn't know that happened, I might try that next renegade runthrough. I couldn't save Tali in my last playthrough..(Which was a Paragon playthrough, go figure.)  I swear Liara was mad at Shep, and I don't think Garus will forgive Shep for it.

I go help the flotilla/Tali as late as I can and really play the Paragon or Renegade part of the character until that point. I was actually more Renagon than I would have liked at the time but still had both blue and red dialog available. You must have to have it pretty low not to be able to save her.

I still can't get over losing Eve in this run. The Krogan are going to be... problematic.

Anybody else have a Talimance save from ME2? I'm on my third playthrough, which is my Tali save, and I suddenly find that, with Liara on my ship again...I don't feel much like romancing Tali.

On a different note, anybody else think people are absolutely banana-sandwich when they say they don't like Liara? Crazy folks.

I would say that for most Male-Players: Miranda & Ash are the overall favorites.
For Female-Players: I would say Kaidan and Garus.
Until ME3 the only s/s option for fshep was liara, so a big percentage of her fanbase is because of that. With Traynor in the mix, it might change, but doubtful.

But Yeah Liara is clearly the Fav at Bioware..

Sounds just a little cynical there.. Surely not all femshep players are using Liara just for her body?

Then you sir, are awsome!:wizard:

Miranda is blatently made to be  the 'sex-symbol' of the game. (Which I'm disgusted to share the same voice with.)The fact they kept her in that 'suit' for ME3..makes it even more blatently obvious.

It's a shame too, because her character is really good.

I've never gone with anyone other than Tali in ME2. And switched around quite a lot between Ashley and Liara.
In ME3 I've gone with Tali and Liara so far.

Just the ME2 romances have been HORRIBLY treated in ME3. As though they only cared about the ME1 romances. Which to be blunt. Takes the ******!

Yeah I was very conflicted between Liara and Tali in ME2 but then ME3 cam alone and Liara just won out completely. I was surprised tbh. And yeah I don't understand anyone hating Liara. She's too cool not to like....but I'm incredibly bias being a true Blue Liaramancer in my first ME3 playthrough

The VS and Liara (sans LotSB) got it much worse in two. Just be paitent and maybe Shep will get his/her due with those romances in a DLC or in ME4... "It's Major Shepard now..."

I don't think this cash cow is going away. It just won't be Shep's Reaper trillogy story... more like cleaning up the choices mess from the three. Like say, a trillion Krogan with no Wrex and Eve, Geth gone wild, or The Eclips Blood-sons.

Welcome ^_^ If I could, I would hug all the male Liaramancers!B) Oh and then ther is the small percentage of the Liara fanbase, who are actualy straight female players.( Iknow of six.)

@Cyrorex
I have to agree with you, here. The ME2 romances did get shafted, but Tali and Garus diden't get nearly as shafted as the rest.

Yeah I won't deny most of the ME2 romances got shafted. but the Garrus romance was pretty damn well done in my opinion tho. Tali's was only shafted a tiny bit because of her late arrival in the story and bioware trolling her face....

Yeah the face thing was just lazy. But Jacob fans got it the worst, my sympathies to them.  The tali romance had so much potential in ME3. But overall the Liara,V.S, and Garus got the best treatment.

What I got from Tali's face reveal was Bioware kept putting off whether they'd show her face or not until the last minute because they wanted to please everyone, both the people who wanted to see her face and those who didn't so they went with the picture.....still annoying...they should have just shown her face on Rannoch....

Garrus's was only just as good as Tali's in my oppinion.

The VS and Liara have it the best, definately. Garrus is not in their level of effort by BioWare.

tsk tsk bioware...Here's hoping that LI DLC I heard about is true so everyone can be satisfied. Tho...I guess there's no real way to salvage Jacob and Thane's Romance...unless Thane is still alive when you do it... Plenty of hope for Miranda, Jack, and Tali tho!

Indeed. I really hope something like this comes to pass.

1: Liara, Kaiden/Ashley: Got the best treatment by BioWare
2: Tali, Garrus: Got okayish treatment by BioWare
3: Thane, Miranda, Jack: Mediocre treatment by BioWare
4: Jacob: Fan's got shafted

Does anyone know if this^ happens if you have done the LotSB, but have that bug that makes Liara not recognize your romance, even though you rekindled in LotSB?

I disagree with that. There is a huge amount of Liara fans both here and other sites as well. Liara is clearly a favorite which is why I believe she got the most attention. The "stats" prove she is the favorite. It's not a BioWare thing, it is a stat thing. Most of what BioWare does is based off of stats.

Just study their behavior after each game, what got attention and what didn't, what was brought to the forefront and pushed back to the back.

Many people had an outcry (including myself) about Liara missing in ME2, they came out with LotSB DLC. Then the outcry about Ash and Kaidan, look at their attention in ME3 (trailer). So that is why. Liara is by far "the" most chosen romance. The BSN isn't the greatest indicator, but even still she is popular on here too.

No, you should have the other one even if you have that bug. I did, I'm assuming I did because she said the whole "haven't been together in years" thing, but I still had her say I love you first in the romance scene.

Hey guys, possible random statement and question coming up, but I really like how the squad in Mass Effect 3 interact with each other. You get the feeling that Liara, Garrus and Tali are all quite tight, as they should be after the hell they're been through together. But one friendship has always surprised me.

Wrex and Liara have always seemed to have gotten on very well, and I can't help but wonder why that is. I mean, when she is first recruited in Mass Effect, Wrex comments that her biotics will be helpful when the shooting starts. And then on the shuttle, "I wouldn't have anyone else along for the ride," is a line that immediately springs to mind.

Just strikes me as interesting.
