Trying to figure out my options for my Femshep run.

Can you tell Liara you just want to be friends in the beginning, and get back with her later? Because if so, that's the path I want to take, since that was the direction I wanted to go with this character.

I'm assuming you're talking about just ME3 and not an entire trilogy run, right? I'd actually like to know the answer to that as well; it'd be an interesting roleplaying scenario. I personally doubt it, it's always seemed to be the case in past games that once you say no they're permanently friend-zoned, but I don't know for sure.

Can't blame you for that. Going with someone else would first require rejecting Liara and...that's just a really tough thing to do to put it lightly.

Yeah, I'm worried what once I ask to just be friends, the chance to say you want to be more is gone. And if that's the case, I'm going to have to do a major re-write, and not romance Liara in ME1, so I can romance her for the first time in ME3.

I'm going to replay the game more slowly this time, walking the entire ship after each mission because I missed a truck load of stuff and dialog.

TBH, that's what I figured that they were or at least they didn't move or anything. The fact that there are advertisements on Illium for getting asymmetrical scalps fixed clued me in at least.

Asari can use helmets made for humans without any major modifications (Liara for example used them during ME1). Although it's probably very unconfortable.

If you look at Liara's helmet from the side you'll notice that there's some extra room in the back for her scalp crests.

I don't agree with you. Many of my friends choosed Liara from ME1 to ME3 (with me of course) and all plays MaleShep (me too). :innocent:

trillogy story... more like cleaning up the choices mess from the

I agree with this. We must clear galaxy of reaper's garbage and retake all planets. Then maybe we will have action with all done choices in ME3 - Only Shep can bring peace!

Right there with you on that one. It's just so sad they couldn't put the same level of thought into the ending. Gotta say even though this scene is nice, I prefer it when Liara says the L word first. Been waiting for either her or Shepard to say it since ME1:innocent:

I also prefer her saying it first. The non-LOTSB version has her kind of think about it for a second before saying it. I know it's only a small thing but it just feels much more concrete in the LOTSB version; like there's no doubt behind the words whereas the non-LOTSB seems like it was kind of sprung on her. 

I couldn't keep the grin off my face when they finally said it to each other to be honest.

How many else loved how Bioware expanded on Benezia in ME3? After playing the game I was actually curious and intrigued about her, especially her involvement with the Asari goverment. It was also good to hear Liara talk about her when she reminces her childhood.

A few scenes in ME3 made me care more about them than ME1 ever did.

Indeed. If you didn't do LOTSB then it's assumed Shepard never helped Liara and so their relationship never recovered after the Illium cameo. For Liara to hear that Shepard still cares about her 6 months after when  he/she should have said it is surprising. So I guess it can explain why Liara is a little hesitant to say the L word at first. I've never skipped Lotsb however and I like the way Liara says it first.
