Okay I'll be honest on this one. Even though it's understandable Liara is greatly upset over the loss of Thessia, she blows it out of proportion. Both Earth and Palavan have been hit MUCH harder than Thessia yet Liara pretended the entire Asari race was finished when Thessia fell. Don't get me wrong, I still love Liara as much as ever and it wouldn't be in her character if she acted indifferent to the loss of her original home, but she could've held back a little. Like I said it's not like the Asari got the worst of it...

From what I understand, they initially intended for the two squadmates you brought with you to eat it because drama and sacrifice. They decided to cut it out because....I dunno, they decided it wasn't necessary I guess.

So turning humans into husks wasn't a big deal, but asari are?

I don't like this ending too. I chose destruction ending, because I have hope for ending DLC + "aftermatch DLC"

... Joker will kill me :whistle:but I think Liara or my blue paragon sentences will save me.

That's a valid point you make. The Asari haven't been in a big war since the end of the Krogan Rebellions, and even then, Thessia was never attacked.

The Asari that were turned into Banshees were still very much alive and in constant agony if I remember the codex entry well enough, adding a few points to the 'Reaper evil' scale imo.

Also, aren't Banshees only made from Reaper-fied Ardat-Yakshi (or asari with a possibility of becoming AY when they mature)? So it's not like the entire population of Thessia is being turned into them. And aren't Ardat-Yakshi exiled and hated by the majority of the asari population because they are thought of as shameful, iirc.

Basically it's what I want to happen at the end of the game with my imagination. Liara is there with Shepard in the final battle, the Reapers are dead, it's a happy ending and lots of little blue children in the foreseeable future!
