1 is gaming the system though, most people would naturally bring along their faves. But the other problem is that they were meant to be unavoidable deaths. I don't see the logic in it at all. Even if it were Ash and.. EDI (because she could just go back to the Normandy, to Joker's great despair)

2 is.. well that's the whole purpose behind the noise being made right now, right? better endings? It truly does kill the motivation for people to finish the game again, and if Bioware ever cared to pull up the statistics on that, I think they'll find an ocean of unfinished ME 3's, much higher than the usual rate that is.

I'm currently running through the game as a vanguard (which is totally awesome, btw...I'm not sure I can play another class now) and I'm sure I'll stop at the beam run part.  I'm tempted to see a different ending besides 'synthesis'...but it's not like the others are all that different XD  I at least want to try and keep Shepard alive this time.

The rumour is that it happens, there's just no cutscene. That is for low EMS. And that is the thing, it was cut(the unavoidable deaths), and that was a good thing, because it would have made zero sense. Or at least about as much sense as the ending does.

I just imported my soldier, and realised that NG+ locks you into the same class. Not cool. But I've only just finished Mars, got a save from the beginning if I ever feel bored and want to see the flirty flirty again.

When Liara starts wavering it was so great to pick "I remember the ones I love" (or something like that). And then Ash punctures the mood. [iWoman[/i].

But I shall most definitely be stopping at Cerberus base (I wonder why I'm always typing collector base first), Earth was just a bad dream, like burning kid.



Edit : The single most awesome/sad quote should come from Legion. "Does this unit have a soul?"  "Yes" at the bottom for emotional gut punch.

If you are on PC, you can change your class with gibbed save editor.  I started this last playthrough as an Infiltrator...got bored...switched to Vanguard...got unbored.

Well, I doubt she said that exactly...but apparently she got the hell outta there after it all went to hell with Harbinger...for some reason...the epilogue scene dictated it.

I never betrayed the geth or quarians, and that scene was simply touching. Legion willingly gave himself up so his entire race could have.. "life". Heck, Legion is space jesus, despite the unfortunate name.

Ah, my uni network is blocking the site to dl gibbed though. I may even be temtped to switch Ash for Kaidan, just to see what it's like, but I may not get the chance. I'm not too concerned about getting it though.

[/quote]That mission was depressing as hell.  It made me mad and sad at the same time.  It also shows how strong Liara is.  Because after Leng's gunship leaves and a Reaper takes out the commando squad, it's Liara trying to comfort Shepard.  When Shepard needed to be comforting Liara.  

I will never ever renegade Liara again when talking to her in her office after Thessia.  I did it with renegade broShep and it hurt to watch her stay on the bed.    I think EDI does a better job talking to Liara than a renegade Shepard does.

[/quote]I will never put that outfit on Liara.  Don't like the head piece.  I do like the Alliance armor.  I think that one gives 25% bonus to power recharge as well.  Max out Pure Biotic and Singularity and spam away.  Especially if  you're playing as an adept.  D-pad, right bumper spam in some battles and never shoot my gun.

Yes, Mars was weird playing with a single Shepard when I am planning on romancing Liara with this Shepard.  I think, for me, Mars was showed how much both care for each other.  Liara's reaction to seeing Shepard, them holding hands to Shepard placing her hand on Liara's cheek.  Perfect.

And I think it's a great idea to make a couple of conversation wallpapers in addtition to the single quotes!
Though it's allways a bit tricky to involve Shep because he/she is so many different things to so many different people...

Allways wondered how that would play out when they were just "old friends". Doubt it has the emotional impact. But then, I may be biased ...

And VS beeing toxic seems to be a popular theme throughout the game. Don't get me started about Ash on
Thessia. Tried to angrily stare at her more than once. Then I remembered it doesnt work that way

As we tought about Liara and her krogan grandpa here before, I just had to create something out of the idea.

Liara's flashbacks of her quarter krogan moments

Decided to keep it simple and go with "flashback". :happy:
