lol only 26 sec?

Anyway... she's faced the monster, and has become one.. and because I don't have it in me to kill her, she's done an auto-Saren on me.

If Liara really did decide to smoke, or drink, inside the ingame fiction would any of you hold that against her?

Out of curiosity. I think I heard some people mention they wouldent like her smoking.

Personally I dont think she would really use much of that stuff anyway, but I wouldent 100 percent rule it out either.

I wouldent kick her out of the bed because of a few crumbs...ciggs...whatever;P Is what im saying.

People who smoke do NOT care about themselves, which translates to them not caring for others. If you smoke around your loved ones, then you must hate them or are terribly neglectful which to me translates to hate.

So no, because I know she loves me, she does not smoke.

that might be a bit extreme

I mean Ali Hillis smokes and i'm sure she cares about herself and others =]

Remember that Ali Hillis is the other half of Liara. :)

*shrug* Good people can have bad habits.

I'd prefer to believe that Liara doesn't smoke than to think she does.

If Liara smokes, then she must have one of those extra-long cigarette holders. I'd be okay with that.

Apparently there was some great dialogue cut in the final conversation with Anderson:

Someone also says that this appears if you didn't romance anyone, so maybe it's not really cut. In any case, Anderson asks whether you ever thought about having children. I don't get why this wasn't included. It would be perfect for the Liara romance, since you actually did talk about having children.

One thing I really missed is some romance-specific dialogue after the fall of Thessia. Liaria sad and you can cheer her up a bit, but you should really be able to sit down on the bed with her and hold her.

Hey smoke talkers!

Vices generally don't hurt people. I only disagree with pregnant mothers smoking, and people smoking too close to children. Anything else is fair game.

Going back to Liara however.

*sticks bottle of brain juice in head to replace brains that painted walls*

I would like to think that Liara definitely wouldn't abandon Shepard so easily at the end, thus invalidating the ending.

Because Liara won't allow it.

See I didn't know that. WHY YOU TELL ME ALI SECRETS?! <_<

Now I has a sad. I need to convince Ali to stop, she is breaking my heart. Such a beautiful women with a bad habit...

No I know my comment was a bit extreme, but I think if people really understood how dangerous smoking and second hand smoke is, they'd reconsider.

@Kilshrek That's the part about the end that irritates me most. Liara wouldn't leave Shepard and I don't think anyone on the squad wouldn't make a dash for the beam themselves. Joker also probably would've, ya know, flown towards Earth instead of fleeing from battle.

There's certainly a cigarette smoking in the ashtray when Liara and Garrus are talking in the lounge, it seems to be pointing towards Liara.

At the end.... everyone dies. I think you get the option to make TIM kill himself, but not before giving Anderson a fatal gut shot. You just get to talk to Anderson.

*biggest sigh in galaxy* Ahyup.

A promise is a goddamn promise. If we can't keep a promise, then we leave disappointed people behind, like the poor kid at the desk in the refugee sector.

And it would have all been for nothing.

Sooo. Just did Liara's project on a renegade Femshep. When Liara said, 'She was a leader, who knew when to be pursuasive, and when to apply pressure.', I wanted to answer with 'I've got fond memories of the last time you put pressure on me.' SO BAD.

I had to check to be sure; that cigarette's always there regardless of if anyone's in the room or not. There are two more on the poker table exactly like it. So there's no clear indication that Liara smokes aside from circumstantial evidence, i.e. her being in the same room as a lit cigarette. So...I guess whether she smokes or not is more headcanon than anything.

Ugh, that's what hurt me the most. Shepard made a promise to always come back. Why couldn't Bioware let me keep that promise? :crying:

I also don't see her or the other teammate abandoning the mission.

If Shepard does actually die, I would think they'd continue towards the 'magic beam', past Marauder Shields, up to the Crucible in order to push the button.  It's odd that they'd just say 'screw it' and leave.
