Ya know i would never have pictured my Liaramancing Renegade Shep as a parent but that pic...ionno makes me think that shep wouldn't mind the idea anymore.  God, now i got this stupid grin on my face, get it off!  Gah@!

Also just ordered Mass Effect Redemption. Looking forward to getting it and reading it.

On a side note, I've been thinking about the Liara romance...does anyone else get the feeling it REALLY took off somehow in ME3? I romanced Liara on my main Shepard throughout all three games and I loved Liara and her match with Shepard during the first two, but now I've finished the final one I just feel massively more emotionally attached to it. I can't even pinpoint why, its just something in the subconscious.

I've also come to the conclusion that the ending can't possibly be the ending and Shepard is most definitely not dead; at least in my playthrough. Not from any particular evidence but because firstly Liara wouldn't let that happen to Shepard and secondly you can be damn sure Shepard wouldn't let anything come between her and Liara and certainly wouldn't let anything happen that would hurt Liara. To quote Shepard "nobody messes with my girl".

One of the few driving factors I have making me want to play the series again in light of the ending is the Liara romance throughout. I'm actually tempted to replay just so I can see the whole thing right through.

Its really advanced a long way from silly damsel in distress crush to full blown commitment. Depending on how you play. With the dire-ness of ME3... well there might not be a tomorrow so it kinda rushes and puts a bit of serious finality to things - makes everything just that more precious. Its reflected in the relationship between Liara and a loyal shep as well as many other aspects in ME3. It just feels good with the romance to see it reach its height. ... and then the ending. *shuts up, takes a drink, sits down*

Me? I'm optimistic, I don't dwell on today because I hope for tomorrow. It often reflects in my Shepard and her choices, things could always be better. Of course... I didn't have the heart to turn down Chakwas for her brandy... She and I knew the score a bit too well I think...

I prefer doing what makes babies but still being able to sleep in on Sundays.

Thanks! I'm actually not sure where I stand on the baby thing to be honest, but I wanted to contribute something to the bsn community. The character boards are my refuge from the intensity of the other boards. I hang out over here when I want to appreciate the parts of the games that I love, not just read and talk about what I'd like to see changed. And if nothing else, Ali *did* said we could all have one. What a good sport.

But think about it for 5 minutes, the time it takes for the ME 3 ending to ruin your happy ending. Wouldn't that little baby be the most incredible thing to ever happen in Shep's life?

****, I may have got some mother brain cells turned on, but.. looking at little Shep. That would make it all worthwhile. Fighting the Reapers, losing our nearest and dearest. Mordin giving his life so the Krogans could have a chance. Thane dying so the Councillor may live. Legion... integrating, so his people may know life. Even Kaidan/Ashley's death back on Virmire.

So many lost along the way, and yet, in some small way, they may live on in little Shepard.

Sorry for disturbing your happy moments, but can anyone provide me with some Liara wallpapers ? For the Desktop, obviously. I just can't seem to find any good ones, worth displaying on my Desktop... nothing to match Liara's greatness, if you know what I mean. Anything from 1440x990 resolution and up would be great. Thank you.

Oh, and give us blue babies BioWare... darn it!
