Cuteness and everything being said, this is really a good piece of penmanship. You got the proportions right, and the way the limbs interact is very realistic.

Yeah, I'm like "My Shepard doesn't want kids."
Then I see pics like that, "Ah, maybe one."
It's also Liara's influence if she wants a baby then Shepard ain't going to say no and risk seeing Liara's sad face. Should have used that instead of the Crucible, Reapers get one look at sad Liara and they'll pack it up and wait for the next cycle.
T'Soni's are the key to defeating the Reapers!

Why didn't you get a job at BW and write the ending?

That just makes me feel angry more than hopeful, backs up the disheartening belief that they actually planned the endings to be as stupid as they are. Without DLC intention.

is liara's romance more based on the emotional bond that she shares with Shepard, or is it just me?

I have to agree, although it makes me more disappointed than angry, that for whatever bizarre reasons they thought it was an acceptable ending. If the indoctrination theory was true it makes them look better but I'm starting to think the whole end was planned to be viewed literally which makes the complete collapse of plot at the end just a giant screw up, rather than part of a dlc plan. I'm just hopeful that we might get something better than the ending we have to put up with.

On the other hand, the pessimist in me is saying that they fully intended that to be it and won't change it.

I think disappointment is the right word here. To totally disregard the prospect for a happy ending is to completely break with how ME 1 and ME 2 were established. Against all odds, and Phil Collins is playing in my head. But back to the point, Bioware probably did think they could get away with the endings as they were. Look at all their statements so far. It's practically saying, oh, err... we didn't know they weren't good enough.
Look at the lack of little blue babies in this thread, Bioware! This is all on you! hoodie's awesomely cute baby Shepard doesn't count!

Paid. Bias. Wannabe Philosophers/Intellectuals that spent too much time watching other peoples sci-fi's - couldnt think of their own artsy fartsy conclusion so mixed all those other ideas together and dubbed it ME3 Ending.
*looks at the baby picture*...
*calms down*
*sighs* Her fingers are adorable...

I prefer doing what makes babies but still being able to sleep in on Sundays.
In that case, don't we all?
But think about it for 5 minutes, the time it takes for the ME 3 ending to ruin your happy ending. Wouldn't that little baby be the most incredible thing to ever happen in Shep's life?
****, I may have got some mother brain cells turned on, but.. looking at little Shep. That would make it all worthwhile. Fighting the Reapers, losing our nearest and dearest. Mordin giving his life so the Krogans could have a chance. Thane dying so the Councillor may live. Legion... integrating, so his people may know life. Even Kaidan/Ashley's death back on Virmire.
So many lost along the way, and yet, in some small way, they may live on in little Shepard.
**** me. I'll just keep drinking this drink and lurk for a bit.
The most incredible thing that could happen is that the ending never happened ... That Shepard was successful and Liara was in her arms kissing her.
Liara also does not want babies and so I also see those exchanges as their way of teasing one another. It's cute. But for those who want babies ... happy blue storks for all of you!
Meanwhile EW and Liara are playing with the little earth puppy that Liara found in the rubble. It was that strange little creature that saved her as she stopped her running and went over to it as it cried out in pain. She helped it get loose and she wasn't sure what it was ... wasn't sure but decided to get it to safety when it nuzzled her. Tali got on her once (Ilos) for sight seeing during a mission and this time her curiousity saved her.
Oh, they named it Moonie after a dog that EW had when she was a kid. So, no baby ... an orphaned and hurt puppy.
That is just my headcanon for the moment to try and take away the current ending.

And a beautiful headcanon it is, even if the origins are.... grimdark... I never could imagine Mindoir, because I could never picture a raid like that... My grandparents lived through the Japanese Occupation of (most of) Asia...
I wish I had the time for imagination... But real life work are making demands on my time, and my ME 3 hangover isn't over. It feels like breaking up all over again, only.. and this is the really crazy part, nobody actually broke up with me.
But fanfiction is my sustenance for now. Watching your "baby" of many years die just like that isn't easy to take...
