I'm nearing the end of ME3 again...I will keep her alive this time...then I think she's retiring for good.

Oddly enough, I could never play as another Shepard and really get into it.  I might create a new one (Veronica) and go through the trilogy again.  Mainly, to experience Liara's character growth throughout the series.  After playing ME3, I might see her in a new light during ME1...I don't know.

Nope, you won't, becuase you can't resist Liara, in any-way-shape-or-form!

Oh, I'll still romance her, ofc.

friendship final gift scene. Instead of kissing she grabs shep's hand and rests her head on his/her shoulder. its really rather sweet

awwww... too cute. I basically romance Liara every time, so I never knew this happened. I feel like Bioware definitely treated Liara as the canon romance, the scenes with her are just all so amazing and more detailed than the others.

That's hilarious, but I think it's actually the inverse, she detests poor Javik. And I don't think it's his fault, I mean, he doesn't represent the actual Protheans, he's the product of his ear when the Protheans were almost extinct and consumed by war.

Killing Ash is such a fail moment. Ash is protecting the council and so is Shepard. Why doesn't Shepard just aim at the door and say "Ash, Cerberus is about to come through that door if you open it ... I hope you are ready!" Instead Shepard shoots her for doing what Shepard is trying to do. And if you have Liara & Garrus with you I just ... I can't even get my head around that moment.

Liara loses it if you kill her on the ship?

Yes. She comes to you pretty messed up and says to find her later. She's in the lounge and is all Shadow Broker nuts on finding info on Lang.

As for the kill, yes... worse, if you don't shoot, one of your party members will. I had Javik so that would make sense given he's a di*k, but if it was either Garrus or Liara... way too ooc. A knee cap or shoulder wound yes. Still, after that and Horizon and Mars, this Shep couldn't let it go. She becomes a war asset which is good. Not sure if I can fill her spot yet. I guess I'll find out.

Why do I feel so protective over the ME1 crew? I can't stand the thought of Ash dying if she survives Virmire. The same with Kaidan. How can these evil Shepards live? Then there is the one that kills Mordin ... what frellin' monsters these Shepards are. No Liara for them!

Just to be clear, Ash only dies if you shoot her or one of your squadies shoots her.

If you do not take her on the ship she joins Hackett with the fifth fleet and becomes a war asset

If you don't take her Joker reacts and that 'show' makes the ending even more implausible. He's as loyal as Liara, or as close to it as possible.
