****, I may have got some mother brain cells turned on, but.. looking at little Shep. That would make it all worthwhile. Fighting the Reapers, losing our nearest and dearest. Mordin giving his life so the Krogans could have a chance. Thane dying so the Councillor may live. Legion... integrating, so his people may know life. Even Kaidan/Ashley's death back on Virmire.

So many lost along the way, and yet, in some small way, they may live on in little Shepard.

The most incredible thing that could happen is that the ending never happened ... That Shepard was successful and Liara was in her arms kissing her.

Liara also does not want babies and so I also see those exchanges as their way of teasing one another. It's cute. But for those who want babies ... happy blue storks for all of you!

Meanwhile EW and Liara are playing with the little earth puppy that Liara found in the rubble. It was that strange little creature that saved her as she stopped her running and went over to it as it cried out in pain. She helped it get loose and she wasn't sure what it was ... wasn't sure but decided to get it to safety when it nuzzled her. Tali got on her once (Ilos) for sight seeing during a mission and this time her curiousity saved her. 

Oh, they named it Moonie after a dog that EW had when she was a kid. So, no baby ... an orphaned and hurt puppy.

That is just my headcanon for the moment to try and take away the current ending.

You know I really like Ash a lot more in ME3 than I liked her in ME1 or ME2. She is just a lot sweeter and cooler but she still got nothing on Liara or Tali.

I was so inspired by all the creativity on the forums that I had to skip my lunch today and draw this (on my ipad) instead of eating. I figured it would work for anyone's Shepard that was faithful to Liara, regardless of how their story ended. So it's either sad or happy, depending on how you want to take it. Hope you like!

I really loved what Bioware did with Liara in ME3 (been faithful since ME1 with all my Sheps), it's all the more painful in light of that ending though

What is this ending you speak of? I know of no such thing.

So far as I know Liara's on her way to pop out her second kid. Of course Shep stops it at 2. 2 mini Shepards should be trouble enough. I mean, just look at the mischief on that baby's face.

What was that Mordin said about Shep's affinity for destruction? I always wondered if it had a hidden backhander in it.

Liara going about destroying everything? She's the most sober person in the galaxy. I imagine those kids would be towing a very short line. Shep included.

Shepard may have the ability to best anything the galaxy throws at her, but Liara controls her heart. *evil laugh*

She'll never need to know that, even if the galaxy insists on telling her who her parents are. Between Shepard and LIara, I don't think anyone would dare ****** them off.

The things Liara and Shephard said in this were...odd. Sometimes they talked like they were in love, sometimes they talked like the were just friends. It was incredibly strange, especially considering I romanced her and only her in ME 1 and 2.

Also I hope when BW add an ending to the game, I see the results of the romance. My game ended when I entered the beam, every single time. Yep...every single time.

They look out for each other. No way I would let Liara (or another companion) shoot Ashley in order to stop Udina. I'm glad I could make Ashley see reason.

Anybody else thinks that Shepard/Liara friendship in ME3 was on of the most interesting squadmate relation in the game ? I mean both of them are much more mature in ME3 than in previous games, kinda deeper characters with some emotional scars. Also all the situations when Liara refer to Shepard as friend make more sence for my Shepard since i romanced only Ash ( im kinda regreating it now). I was trying to roleplay my Shep trough whole game and i really felt he is very close to Liara. Like each their conversation have second bottom.
I really don't understand why some people are complaining about Liara transformation in 2nd and 3rd game. I found her much more interesting. She was on of my least favourite character in first game. But now she is one of my top favourite along with Garrus and Mordin...

Ok, im done, my nerdish side of myself needed to express its feelings

Posting for the first time here, but long time Liara fan!

I really liked her romance on ME3, she changed so much since ME1, back then I liked Liara because she seemed like someone who was more vulnerable than the rest of your crew and needed some protecting , but by the time I was nearing the depressing end of ME3 it felt like she had grown a lot and was now an equal to Shephard, I no longer saw that bumbling lonely arqueologist my Shephard fell for but a fully matured self assured woman capable of standing shoulder to shoulder with Shephard, and I thought that was great :-), not often do you see characters grow so much in video games!

I just hope she found a way out of that jungle planet :-(

I agree with the posters above, Liara has really grown as a character. I'm pretty much in love with most of the characters in the Mass Effect world, but it definitely seems like Bioware worked really hard on our favorite Asari. Watching clips from Mass Effect 1, it's amazing everything she has gone through to become the powerful intelligent woman she is in Mass Effect 3. They wrote her character so well, she almost feels like a real person... if only.

Did anyone else think that Liara's facial expressions were the most realistic? Maybe I'm just biased....
