Jib-Do you remember when? I don't remember Ash calling femShep "Skipper". That could be because I'm not a big Ash fan and really didn't pay that much attention to her. I was always focused on our blue babe, Liara.

And I just checked out Ben Stein's voice. He's more... older guy/father figure sort? Like Anderson or Hackett? Though both VA's (Keith David & Lance Henriksen) are awesome. I would find it hard to fit him in to my father figure schedule for Rachel, she already has Anderson as the "dad".

The guy from Halo would be awesome for a maleShep, but I guess Microsoft will never allow him to voice another space hero other than the Master Chief.

I only ever played Reach.

Anybody for Morgan "voice of God" Freeman, you all know you will read the remainder of these posts in his voice now.  personally i like Meer's voice in 3 atleast was ok in 1 and 2 guess it grew on me, but i could see harrison ford doing shepards voice, but then again that is me just geeking out again.

and my Shep is a redhead to, kind of...  i modeled Tiberius after myself and the mixed irish/english/german/italian/etc.. ancestry gave me a mix of blond/brown and red hairs and a red beard, the best i could do with Tiberius was light brown that looked atleast to me like it had specks of ginger in it and a bit of ginger 5'oclock shadow

I only ever played Reach.

Can't hit you ... male Shepard was odd to me but I needed him to love on Ash. I've grown to like the guy to be honest. And no, she only calls male Shepard Skipper ... she uses "ma'am" for female Shepard and it's sexy to me. That's why when she said it to me in person I melted. 

EDIT: Kilshrek .. I don't remember her calling femShep Skipper ... hmm.

She has with about half of mine. The Paragons. If you talk to her about her family and are on the plus side of nice she will.

I know. I've been periodically flicking across to it to keep up with the news...
...ah, who am I kidding? I just want to look at pics of Liara.

That said the implication is that our Liara has become the poster girl for Mass Effect makes me kinda tingly.

Hey, I'm on the Geth dreadnought with Tali and Liara. I usually use Legion for the Collector vents but I must have used Tali for this Shep. There is banter on her not liking vents and Shep says... you did fine on the Collector base... I moved too fast and Liara started talking over them about the Dreadnought's weapons... I may do this over with Garrus and see if he chimes in about the Base too. Third playthrough and this really is a different story...

I hope BW gets the DLC/ending fix done soon. That would make this ride so much more enjoyable post Sanctuary.

You still have hope for a better ending?  I'm not.  I can work with the ending giving.  I don't think everything needs to have a Hollywood type ending.  It ruined Lord of the Rings for me with that happy BS ending that was not in the book.

Whaddya mean? It happens exactly as in the book. Frodo hands over there and back again to Sam. Then it may or may not be that Sam himself travels to the West.

In fact the book ending is even more Hollywood, since our four battle hardened hobbits beat Saruman, once Gandalf's equal or better in terms of power.

The ending in the movie was not in the book.  I actually read the books again after watching the movies.  Everyone standing in line to use th restroom at the midnight showing was ticked off about the ending too.  Or those that actually read the books didn't like the ending much.  It was too happy and the ending to the book was not happy.

It was bittersweet.

The Shire was conquered by Saruman, Frodo's vision in Galadriel's mirror was a turned into reality, and Grima Wormtongue was Saruman's lieutenant.

Our four warrior hobbits started a resistance and overthrew the evil gits, Grima actually dying this time. Saruman had lost much of his power after Gandalf took over the White title. But everyone survives, the ending is happy, Sam marries Rosie(?) and they have some kids, Merry and Pippin, I forget what happens to them, Frodo joins Bilbo and Gandalf on the final ships to the West, because his wound at the hands of the Witch King would never heal. There was also the weight of the Ring on his soul.

The ending of LOTR, bittersweet, but fulfilling.

Big difference btw Hollywood ending and a longer ME3 ending that would make it easier to imagine Shep might see Liara again. Right now I'm not sure why she left mid-battle or where the ship crashed or what they have to work with to get off that planet. Too much unknown for me. I hope they add more, but wevs. I don't think they'd ever go full rainbows (nor should they). :\\
