I vote baby asari pic as top pic for every page until we can think of something better (as if) or something realy special comes along.

edit : Doozer, I know some people like their Shepard's dead, there should also be some who don't, and I fall firmly into this camp. I want to know there's hope for her as well. Redemption, as it may be called, for everything that she has done, for all the lives she took, for all the sacrifices she made. The one person, the one thing to make it all worthwhile, worth losing those friends, worth making those tough calls, worth risking everything for.

Rachel absolutely has to make it back to Liara, or her motivation, my motivation, is undone. That solid core of drive, determination? Before meeting Liara it was to be the best damn marine out there, to make her mother proud. To ensure the batarians would never again try the funny business they tried on Elysium. Then, it became Liara, and the Normandy. Family, after a fashion.

I'd rather not drag things off topic like this again, but Liara is a tangential discussion to this I guess.

It actually manages to get even more stupid and offensive anytime you stop to think about it. It's not just a bad ending to the trilogy it does invalidate almost everything you do AND blows the canon of the universe against the wall with a sawn off shotgun.

I can never move to the acceptance stage since accepting the ending is to embrace madness and gibbering insantiy on a personal level. To welcome it's dark power into your very soul.

But that image pacifies me.  I need my rage and anger to rearrange every molecule in Biowares creative artistic face.  ok...no maybe not that bad but.. still...something to fight for...bah ok i second this notion.

But I dont wanna fanfic my own ending in, i mean i could if the current ending didn't rob me of hope and creativity (ok dramatic i know but still, empty and hollow is what i feel for this game). I dont get paid for it! Bioware does! I paid a lot for a decent game with a conclusive ending. I got half. Stupid collectors edition. god im such a sucker!

*note to self, kill thane should another play through be attempted*

If you take out Thane in ME2, either have Kirrahe or expect to see a dead councilor.  Which is what I got with Jaxx Shepard.  I never kept track of Kirrahe.

Think about this when it comes to Leng.  His biggest thing was taking out a krogan with that sword of his.  To me and my Shepard, big whoop.  Leia has taken out two thresher maws on foot and hordes of krogan.  I love the banter between Leng and Shepard on the Cerberus Base.  Calls Shepard slow.  Yea, I am slow because I'm not a wuss like you Leng that has to run every chance they get.

I also think if Liara was in a better mental state at that point, she would have taken him out instead of him tossing her around like a rag doll.  Liara was not in a very good frame of mind on Thessia.  Give her this though.  She does try to console Shepard before they left Thessia.

Image IPB

Leng did pay for this.  Shepard may had said this is for Thane, but for Leia it was for him tossing Liara round.
Image IPB
Not the shot I wanted.  I need to record it.  Thessia is all jacked up and I don't know what happened.  :pinched:

Again though, Liara saved the say and helped Shepard up for the third time.

I went in with the attitude that it was all a dream/hallucination/indoctrination/whatever and that made me realize even more how much it makes no sense.

I tried to walk away from the 'choices' and the kid and jump off the platform but the game wouldn't let me.

Though, it wasn't as bad this time around since I picked the Destroy option with Shepard surviving.  And picking the renegade options with TIM at the end was a lot better.

But still...egads.

Liara not only teleports to the Normandy, but changes clothes?  Come on.

LOL! That whole Normandy thing is a real WTF?

Turbo ... I'm still holding on to the faith that Bioware will pull something out of their hat. And I do want a way to save Shepard. There, I said it. I want Shepard to live!

Rofl Scarlett Shepard, ftw.  ANd red armor.  Now all we need is Liara with a silly mustache..or maybe we better leave that one to Kaidan.

Knew you'd see sense.

Keep that rage, bottle it up, release it only when you need to. The Liara thread is definitely not a place anyone needs rage for. Take that fight to the threads where the good work of politely asking for more (and better) endings is going on.

But I quite approve of the gif. 'specially the flash, hair-trigger much, dear Liara?

Think about it this way.  Shepard just made it where organics can evolve on a more natural course.  Not the course the Reapers set them on.  The mass relays and the citadel.  It doesn't blow the universe up.  You are assuming there will never be space flight again.  We had to be in space in the first place to find the relays.  Organics will get back there.  It won't happen any time soon.

Think about the fall of Rome and all the tech from that era that was lost and took centuries to get back.  If it takes centuries for organics to get back into space, there is nothing wrong with that.  You always have to take a step backwards to move forward at times.  This is one of those times.

And just cause

Believe it or not.  I agree with this.  100%.  I like the idea of Shep surviving better imo.  She deserves it, Liara deserves it.  the crew deserves it.  But then as tali says: I dont think life is about what you deserve.  But you are right back to blue.

If I'm being honest I don't understand anything that happens after the attack on the Cerberus base. Once that mission is over nothing in the game makes any sense anymore. It's just things happening and everyone else seems to know what's going on but I don't and nobody will stop and explain anything.

Not to dwell on it though. Here's my hand hold gif someone asked about it earlier and I didn't post it since jlb had beat me to the punch.

I render them in a little higher resolution though.

Kei Lang was a disappointment. Bioware kinda failed to make me feel anything for him. He hit liara, that pissed me off, taunted me about thane *meh* sent me an email...how juvenile. Kicked his ass in the end for "thane". *shrugs* the guy was a thorn in my side, but nothing id write home about.

I don't know I thought Kei Lang was a good villain. He made me feel something. He got me really raged like Wolverine from X-Men does and roars. He killed my friend Thane and hit and threw Liara across the room and she landed on top of Tali, my other girl and let me failed to save Liara's home planet, Thessia. I definitely felt something. Lol. :D

All three ending I saw on my first run(dead Shep):( Liara was on the Normandy for all three endings.  She 2nd off with destroy and I think control as well and 3rd off with syngery(which I hate that ending more than control)

TIM wanted to control the Reapers, NOPE.
Imagine Shepard without synthetics, yes, I can actually silly space boy avatar.
Die Reapers DIE!:bandit::devil:  That is the only ending that actually makes sense to me to do.

I'm off to lock in my Liara romance with single femShep.  See if that scene plays out any differently than with a romance already in place.

I'll leave ya with Liara copping a feel on femShep's breasts.

You know that Liara did not need her father to tell her how its done. She has always known how to please Shepard ... she had the gifts of her mother. Seductive and loving. And I can't stop looking at this ... Image IPB

I didn't get the ending either but when I finished the game I hadn't slept in 30 hours and I was high.

But then I played it while sober and well-rested and it was exactly the same. That's saying something.

LOL!!!! So lack of sleep and being stoned doesn't help? Crap, that was my plan on if I ever replayed ME3. I thought it might help. Well, scratch that off the list.

But I really am a dirty old man at heart. Especially when it comes to Liara.

Hmmm... I have been thinking about this for a while... the restart point. And the real weirdness that goes on from that point. The feel to the game changed. I mentioned this about 20 pages back...

Cerberus base...
Reaper fetus...
Shep said to Hackett... keep firing - pound on the base; with them still on board.
One shot to kill a reaper for the first time ever?
Two full on nukes to kill the one after it; along with air support; still it went down pretty easy...
The creepiness of London and everyone saying goodbye like they all gave up.

Shep alive, in rubble, but it's creaking like a ship - but can't be the Citadel/crucible because it outright exploded; if you were really there at all.

So if it's not earth, could it be you never left the Cerberus station?

I need to really pay attention from that point on. It's like I've got my shard and I'm digging the wrong way. Damn you Bakara!

Even so, it would still equals spaced. On the Cerberus base there would be a chance of atmosphere even with a catastrophic collapse of some decks.

...and where is my Prothian orb? I found my hamster and ships... where is the orb?

What is the orb... Queue eerie music.
