SO I was replaying the ending to ME3... for the 4th time... and I just realized that Liara wants little blue kids as well! Seriously! She said, "All those little blue children will be dissapointed that I didn't have a speech at this point." To which Shep replies, "We'll make something up for them."
Damn it BioWare why must you play with my emotions so! ;-; You had to have Liara say those words didn't you! Just to mess with everyone when they get to the end and it turns out that there really is no end to the game, or at least Shepard is dead and there will be no blue kids for Liara and Shepard.... I'm going to go cry my eyes out now....
I know exactly what you mean. In the end continuing a relationship with Liara was the turning point in which ending I chose... but I died anyway so it didn't matter. I was already sobbing and everything, but when Liara popped up in the flash back type thing, I lost it.

But anyway, do let's steer the conversation away from the gloomy aspects of ME 3. It's a nice sunny day outside for me, and seeing all this really saddens me, because it did affect me as well. I haven't even done anything after I finished Mars, the game is just sitting there.

Not to mention she shared that vision only with very good friends. Or bondmates. I almost cried when she said that. That was almost a proposal right there. And then she went on with the little blue children and.. uh oh... remembering the end of the series:crying: BioWare why? We almost had our marriage, old age and a lot of little blue children ending right there!
And for some reason, reading your post makes me think of this.

Oh and guess what you also only get two flavors of ice cream, red and blue, but if your extra good we'll give you a third flavor, green~! :wizard:"

Not watching the ME movie, ain't my story. People can spin it all they like, a Mass Effect movie based on Commander Shepard is just bad business. You can't really tempt the core fans to come to watch it because, well, it ain't their Shepard. And launching an unknown sci-fi/fantasy IP into the movie scene can backfire spectacularly, like that new Disney movie, John something.
But anyway, do let's steer the conversation away from the gloomy aspects of ME 3. It's a nice sunny day outside for me, and seeing all this really saddens me, because it did affect me as well. I haven't even done anything after I finished Mars, the game is just sitting there.
Oh I completely understand where you're coming from regarding the Mass Effect movie. But I'm gonna check it out anyway most likely. I'll probably end up bashing how much it betrayed the story or something though, much like I complained about Hitman the movie (Where Jason Statham should've been Agent 47!)
It's sunny here too, but outside it's still way too cold, so no approval of the weather for my case. I want weather where I can walk around in a T-shirt outside!

I just very calmly reject the last ten minutes of the game and make up my own story of what happend. Historically, video game movies have sucked to the high heavens. I can't think of one right now that was done right. Max Payne was painful, even with Markie Mark. It will betray the story, I need not go any further to provide an example even.
I gotta get cracking with my lab work in a bit, 30 min travel to the lab. Better than moping about wondering about all the what if's in ME 3, none of them end well. Little baby Medea? Ain't likely, with coolface and lolface in the picture.
Normandy? Scumbag Joker decided it best to cut and run. Liara?
Well Liara is Liara, but I cannot for the life of me work out why she isn't at Shepard's side, at least in her dying moments.
I have a very inventive collection of swear words ready to be let loose at this situation, to illustrate my frustration.

I have no idea how to separate quotes here, so replying to both parts down here!
Part 1: Alright, no pillows, they'll only cover up the fun anyway. Tournament? No thanks, will mean less time watching Liara and Ashley. Can we make it an iron man match (those 1 hour wrestling things)?
part 2: I can play the game, have fun with it and everything yes, I'm still fully developed in the story, but will spacebar through some things I already know about and don't care too much for. I'm enjoying the game just as if I played it the first time. Hell, when I played through Mass Effect 1, the game bored me and I could only play for 30 minutes at a time (my recent playthrough that is). Then as soon as I got Liara in my game, things got interesting for me.

From tumblr user: Scrooble
"Since this is all head canon, I decided my shepard would have 3 kids; Fiore the eldest daughter and the youngest being the twins seen above, Inaya (Right) & Ranya (Left).
I added slight peach/reddish hue to the tips of their head crests as a sort of nod towards my shep’s red hair and gave them both her green eyes. The freckles are from both parents however, I gave them a more ‘peach’ hue rather than Liara’s darker blue ones.
Whereas the twins take after my shepard in terms of their looks, Fiore takes more after Liara- eventually I’ll get round to drawing her and/or doing a family portrait pick."

Anyway I think I have a theory as to why her boobs appear bigger but might not necessarily be any bigger if you took the armour off (yes please!).
Have you noticed the collar of her armour? The outer-ring at least doesn't fit flush to her neck, there is a gap. This is common with nearly all the armours in the game and you can clearly see that there is what seems to be an "under-garment" between the armour and the wearer's skin.
Wether this is an integral part of the armour or a seperate garment, it makes logical sense for it to be there for comfort at the very least. All this padding and armour, even if it's lightweight armour, adds definate "bulk" to anyone who wears it and from that point I draw the conclusion that this includes around the boobs.
No I am not suggesting for one second female armour is given extra padding around the chest to keep her ****** from being shot off; think about what is behind those (rather nice) shirt-potatoes. Heart? Lungs? I'd say they rated some protection, even if it does appear that Liara's had a boob-job!
That's my theory and I am sticking to it!
I'm no prude and some of the artwork I have seen here is excellent and I will be weighing in with some of my own soon. However I see a disappointing amount of artwork that belongs in Fornax. When it comes to cherished characters like Liara, I vastly prefer tasteful nudity or something more alluring than outright pornographic.
That's just me though...and I am just a sad, lonely guy who happens to have a soft-spot for a certain Asari.

I still think that part was pretty neat. Right after Anderson died I thought something along the lines of "Rest in peace admiral. You've earned it. Now I really should go back down to Earth, I've got a promise to keep."

I'm glad I am not the only one who noticed that Liara's boobs seem to get bigger. I always thought small and well-proportioned fit her nicely but then again, unlike some people, I have a modicum of sexual sophistication. Not much. I grant you, but it's there all the same.

Soft spot for certain Asari? lol! Wow! Sounds just like me!
My theory on her chest however is my headcannon and written into my fanfic. I believe because of her feelings for Shep, her desire for children and to settle down with him (male shep sorry) she has decided to move into the Matron stage. Combined with the number of times she has melded with him, at least in my story, this has brought the Matron stage raging forth. I think it happens when they change stages. If you notice throughout all the games, Aria, Benezia, Samara, all of them have large chests. Where as those who are not Matriarchs or in their Matron stage do not.
Just my two cents. IMHO.

You, me and many others I'd warrant!
While your "matron stage" idea is certainly plausible, I always got the impression it came at a certain age (around 300 - 400) and Liara is "only" 108 at the end of ME3. Still, don't take that as me saying "you are wrong" because I would never do that and, as I said, you've really put some thought into it and more power to you.

Welcome. We're a mostly friendly bunch dedicated to Liara.
I figure trolling Liara fans has to stop sooner or later. We all know (or at least I do) that she's the writer's favorite and has got the best romance in the entire series, and I'm just fine with that.

And if you cheat on her before Lair of the shadow broker, she even gets to insult your new romance. Extra dominance in the romance world to her. Yes, I figure she's a dominant lover, considering how she addressed Ashley's reply to Liara's comment about her being jealous.
