Liara Fans: keep your love blue and true!

On my main playthrough I remained faithful to Liara, will I get a bit of extra content as with the love triangle for the cheaters, or will the romance portion of ME3 just sort of fizzle out for me because I didn't hump my way through ME2? ( ;] )
Cheers

Yeah. I hope there won't be any "blue babies" or "pregnants Liara" during ME3. If they are going to do such it should be in the epilogue. But for some reason, seeing Liara being pregrant in-game would just seem soo cheesy for some reason.
Even though I love that franchise as well, this would remind me too much about Anakin and Padme's relationship in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Seeing as that didn't end too well, I wouldn't have high hopes for Shepard and Liara if their relationship went the same way. I would have no problem with it if the epilogue either states or reads (rather have moving images and a voiced epilogue) that 15 - 20 years after ME3, Liara and Shepard were married and had a daughter together. But I'd love a proposal scene in game.
@WertyJ
I assume those who remained faithfull will get a much more heartwarming reunion with their LI than those who cheated. Can't imagine Liara will be too pleased if you reaffirmed their romance in Lotsb (thereby claiming to care about Liara) and then still cheat on her. And believe me, Liara WILL know. And if the balcony scene after defeating Vasir is any indication, she will not be amused.

I don't expect more than some partybanters and a cutscene. Nothing dramatic.
Like the one time in DA2 when Anders and Fenris were fighting over Hawke and Isabela said: "Get over yourselves. I did him, too."
That was pretty funny.
Liara and LotSB makes it clear she doesn't want that kind of drama.
But I will be curious how they handle Liara and Garrus/Tali.

Even though I never cheated, I will be looking those scenes up on youtube. I'm actually hoping for a "How could you?!" kind of dialogue between Liara/Tali or Liara/Garrus. Even though Liara and tali/garrus don't appear as friends to me but you don't know what happens during ME1 between different squadmembers. Pressly, while resenting the aliens at first, comes to admire and love them as his own crew during ME1, something must have happened, he wouldn't change all by himself now would he?

If they are friends or even close friends, I don't know. But I think the whole ME1 crew will always be close.
It's like being a member of a Sport team, you may not necessarily like them all, but as a team you stick together.
Maybe I will check out Liara/Garrus at some point, I'm pretty sure Liara/Tali will be really fast up on youtube.
The new default femShep should do it. It's weird I never want to check these things with my canon Shepards.

I know, even though it won't be a save file you'll actually use it still feels wrong somehow. I guess you could be right about the ME1 crew being closer than it might seem. With all that's happened, party members may seek support with one another when Shepard isn't there. Liara's comment in Lotsb if you romance Tali or Garrus also seems to indicate she knows both of them on a more personal level. Just too bad the meaning of this is reduced by Liara also seeming to know all other ME2 party members like this...

Liara is an information broker. Considering she cares for shepard, and if you romanced her, especially so she is going to check out the new Normandy crew, and make sure Shepard has the best of the best, or something close to? or make sure none of them are going to double cross Shepard at least...
Anyways, if Shepard romances someone, and Liara found out through information coming into her possession then she is going to know about them if that were the case. She isn't going to be happy that you cheated on her (Though honestly she does give you that 'I think we're over' feeling initially).
Anyways, ya that's my take on it

I figured she'd have even that kind of information in the Shadow Broker archives. Seems more like the WW II german stasi than an information broker to me the more I learn about it. But back to the point. From youtube vids I learned she talks about Shepard's romance with Miranda or Jack and says something about Shepard having changed Miranda/Jack a great deal. The way she explains it, it sounds as if she knew the people she talked about personally. Either that or she has a great ability to read people (which I doubt after 50 years of solitude and 2 years of seeking vengeance on the shadow broker) if she's able to compare Old Miranda to New Miranda with just a little information from her archives and then 2 minutes of looking at her...

I saw the dialogue for Tali in the cabin scene.
That always gives me the vibe that Tali and Liara were talking about Shepard at some point.
Tali has her mask and I think it's hard to guess that Tali had a crush on Shepard in ME1,only by watching her body language.
But I don't know how to interpret the Garrus comment in the cabin scene at all.

Well I suppose it was in her body language then. Turning and quickly looking away when Shepard notices, though with that helm on I suppose you'd have to be incredibly obvious for anyone to notice you looking Shepard's way. Although the bright eyes are a giveaway. Kelly also states (when playing male Shepard) it's in Tali's body language that she'd like to be more than friends and that she "wouldn't be surprised if she [Tali] makes advances on Shepard [you]"
Just looking up what she says on the ME wikia. I suppose she says Shepard could give Garrus a sense of stability and peace. Honestly I thought Liara knew Shepard by now. Spending time with Shepard certainly doesn't bring you peace or stability as Shepard always gets into the thick of battle eventually. I guess you're right, I have no idea how to explain this comment and have it make sense at the same time. I guess even Liara T'soni can be wrong from time to time:pinched:
Edit: It occurred to me that there's not a single Liara picture on this entire page. This needs to be fixed.

There we go. Everyone's favorite Asari (Or she should be!)

Good point with Kelly, I did forget about her comment about Tali. So I guess it's possible that Liara just watched how Tali interacted with Shepard.
I just really want Tali and Liara to be friends, like Isabela and Merril. They were so adorable.

Well most of the adorable part was due to Merrill's innocence. I'm reminded of Merrill's conversation with Isabella about pirates.
Merrill: Do you have a parrot Isabella?
Isabella: What would I want a parrot for?
Merrill: What about a pet leg, do you have one of those?
Isabella: You can see that I don't, dear.
Merrill: Eye patch?
Isabella: I'm dissapointing you terribly aren't I. And no hook for a hand either.
I can't see Liara/Tali having conversations like these but I sure wish they would.

Do we know what BioWare is doing with her character model? I thought LotSB Liara was absolutely amazing, but the demos from E3 and SDCC don't look the same as the LotSB Liara. I saw Casey say earlier that the faces weren't final...have we heard any other news?

We haven't. The model used in the E3 demo seems to be a combination between all of Liara's face models. My personal guess is they were working on it (don't know why since her Lotsb face was perfect imo) and didn't get it done in time before E3. Since it's not that important for the demo they left it like this for a while. Casey Hudson only stated this wasn't the final model. Unfortunately at this time we have no other information about how Liara will look in ME3.

She got hit by a Cerberus prototype weapon that made her look less attractive.

@Lizard - We didn't get much other than Ali Hillis is awesome! Most of it was gameplay related. We did sort of get confirmation on no Blue children though, as the only child in the game is apparently the one featured at E3. But it's BioWare they can change their mind and that's fine with me...

Which I'm actually okay with. Wouldn't want pregnant Liara during the game anyway, and watching over kids while the galaxy is being destroyed. Eugh, bad. Of course this 'confirmation', if you want to call it that, probably doensn't include a possible epilogue. Just the main game.

As much as I want to see Shep/Liara's blue kiddies, I would like to see blue children on Thessia a lot more. All homeplanets should have both male/female (which I think they're doing, so that's great.) and kids! What is a world without kids!? I'm surprised he said there's only 1 kid in the whole game so far, and that's the one we've seen in the demo. It would be quite easy to use his model to make the other kids, right? I dunno. Meh! I will be slightly dissapointed if they don't put more but it's all good.
