Hmm we must have played different MaleSheps then. Mine is as loyal as can be to Liara.

I have to admit that I found the romance scene between Shepard (who in my case is male) and Liara. It was erotic without being pornographic and I would much rather watch it than log onto a porn site any day!
Speaking of, am I missing something or does there seem to be a certain stigmata about pairing Liara with a male Shepard? It's just a small vibe I'm geting from various comments here.
Finally, a fellow BroShep Liara fan is here
I play femshep and maleshep. I always seem to fall into Liara's trap with either gender. Granted, Miranda stole my Maleshep's attention in ME2. However, I quickly hopped back on the Liara train with LOTSB. I don't think there is a stigma, but I do find that my femshep feels like her vibes fit better with Liara than Maleshep, that may be just that I prefer the voices of Jennifer Hale and Ali Hillis better?

I don't think my single femShep and Liara are going to exchanging "I love you" in the final cabin scene.![]()
From the talk on the Citadel. I posted a link for it and the previous page. Liara tells single femShep she likes her. That scene plays out very differently if Liara is not already romanced. The first part is the same. Where Liara talks about how she likes this part of the Citadel and then talks about Benezia. After Shepard tells Liara she wants more is where the difference is.jlb524 wrote...

Jennifer and Ali are good friends and actually do like each other much. They are constantly referring to their in-game romance and are playfully flirting with each other in interviews and such.So it's only natural to pick FemShep...

Which makes me think the final cabin scene will play out very differently as well.

I also think all the dialogue Hillis had to work with was Hale's not Meer's.Wasserfrau wrote...

It does she'll only say "I Love you" with a loyal Shepard who started the Romance in ME1. A cheating Shepard gets "I'm glad we're doing this" and new romance gets "I never thought we'd be together like this, it means a lot to me."

Is it because she lacks ears?

My advice is don't bother. It's not the same. This femShep is single because of Robbhuzz. He wanted comformation that you could not romance Liara after doing Virmire, so I checked it out. And you can't. I barely did any of the side missions and once I found out I couldn't romance Liara, I went to Illos to finish that run so I could play ME2.jlb524 wrote...

Oh I see...I wasn't aware there were differences on the Citadel too (can't watch the vid as I'm at work).
I did want to do a single Shep run for Liara in ME3 but...I can't!
That's nice but I'm a pegasister...insomniac13 wrote...

here have a Liara pony
She only tells Shepard on the Citadel that she "likes" Shepard. I'll be posting all the romance scenes with Liara and single femShep. I don't know how many will bother doing a single Shep to romance Liara.FdL_Ananas wrote...

"I'm glad we're doing this" doesn't sound particularly convinced or romantic. Would be interesting to hear her delivery of it.
And the "new romance" sentence is sweet. Once more evidence that she's somewhat in love with Shep even when they're not together I think. I wonder to what degree she admitted that to herself before.
Why do I feel so old and out of touch with the My Little Pony stuff.Wasserfrau wrote...
