*Insert picture of Shepard lying in rubble that is clearly not the citadel after choosing Red ending (and having 4000+ EMS)*

Yeah that was pretty much guaranteed. But good to see BioWare is not blatantly ignoring us at least.

I'm taking the Garrus view on things.  Expect the worse and I might be pleasently surprised.

I want to say this.  There was a bunch of uproar about the ending to DA2 and that didn't get fixed.  Which is why I don't think they're really going to do much with the ending to ME3.

Thanks a bunch for the link!
Sounds as if they want to do at least something about the situation.
Hope they are aware of the huge expectations this will cause and that they have the actual time/budget required to pull it of. From an artistic viewpoint I still trust that they are able to deliver if they really want to.

She only tells Shepard on the Citadel that she "likes" Shepard.  I'll be posting all the romance scenes with Liara
and single femShep.  I don't know how many will bother doing a single Shep to romance Liara.

It's not the same at all.  Interesting to say the least.

Hmm, Iookin' forward to watch those videos and see it for myself. Thanks for all the work you put into that!

Yeah, finally some promises.
But oh well, they did promise us "vastly different endings and an epic conclusion with no loose ends". So I'm not believing until I see it. ;)

I wonder that part, as they seem to truly believe their artistic ending to be awesome. I can't imagine everyone at BioWare to agree.

My advice is don't bother.  It's not the same.  This femShep is single because of Robbhuzz.  He wanted comformation that you could not romance Liara after doing Virmire, so I checked it out.  And you can't.  I barely did any of the side missions and once I found out I couldn't romance Liara, I went to Illos to finish that run so I could play ME2.

I don't regret going this route.  I prefer the romance arc from ME1 to ME3.  Outside of the bug during the first talk on the Normandy.  It's been months Liara, not years.  :kissing:

I almost felt bad you had to go through this because of me:unsure:, luckily you didn't regret it and I guess it's interesting to see the difference between a ME1 - 3 romance and a ME3 only romance for yourself.

 Kinda agree with LadyVader
While reading thru the blog, This sentence kinda struck me.
"The team and I have been thinking hard about how to best address the comments on ME3’s endings from players, while still maintaining the artistic integrity of the game."
Somehow i think they would still insist using their initial ending albeit with some minor changes. :crying:

To change is to admit that their proud piece of work is faulty... and that their initial vision is wrong, do you think they will do that?:crying:

But still just like when i heard of the Spoilers of the RGB Endings, i cling to the hope that Bioware won't do that to us, to those loyal fan that had follow the series since me1...in the end, well, the rest is history...with a broken Heart.

I love you, yes I do. And yes, I'm talking to the picture.

Speaking of pictures, what does it mean with all the "TOP" and I think "totp"?

Ps about pictures: I promised I'd contribute to this thread. It most likely has been posted already, but I'm too lazy to check.

Yes I have no idea how to wrap it into displaying an image on this board, I don't see anything helping me in the text form thingie.

On a final note, am I just being a deadly jealous type, or did the idea of Liara and Feron as a couple make you jealous, just the very idea?

I totally understand where Bioware is coming from. I don't think that they will completely change the ending, but I think they could still maintain the artistic integrity of the game by explaining things a bit more and giving us more closure. (part of me feels as though maybe we just aren't suppose to get closure, and that's okay?).

It's weird because I feel like the Mass effect universe is so well written and every little detail is explained (even down to Liara's 'hair tentacles’), so why does the ending not seem entirely possible to occur in their world. (like Liara ending up in the jungle in a different outfit after fighting with Shepard on the Citadel.)

No you're not beaing deadly jealous, at least I don't think you are. The very thought of Feron and Liara being a little closer than friends made me jealous at first. Then after Liara and Feron both explained there was nothing going on between them I was calm and satisfied again=]

Please can someone post link to the picture of Liara smiling at the end of ME3? (You know, the shots of Joker, Anderson and Liara) I tried UTFGing it but no success. I really want that one as wallpaper so some HD quality would be cool.

If it is already posted somewhere here, I apologize but looking through 830 pages is insane.

Problem is,  people in the 22nd century don't need glasses because poor eyesight and such can be treated before a child is born (see Ashley). One could wear it as an accessory though.

But the question is, who the f*ck want's to wear glasses if you don't need them (and yes I know there are people, a lot of people, who do that). That is like the most stupidest thing ever. It's like walking around on crutches when there's absolutely nothing wrong with your legs. I wear glasses and I don't wear them so that I would be better looking (though women have said I look sexier with glasses than without them ;)) but because I want to be able to see something. God, everytime I see those friggin' hipsters I really wanna hit them. If they really want to wear glasses so badly, they could even bother to buy frames that actually look like real spectacles, and not use one of those cheap and toy-looking shiny plastic ones. Everybody can see they're fake miles away, and that makes them even more stupid-looking. Not a single person I know who has to wear glasses so that they can see something, would wear them if they didn't have to, man, I would happily give these away if I could see properly without them. The great indian chief, cohina, has spoken.

And now I just gotta hope there's no one here in this thread who likes wearing fake glasses, or at least if there is, that I didn't offend him/her too much, it's nothing personal, just my opinion :pinched:.

I apologize to you all for off topic :?

Good to know! I lurked a bit on the walkthrough explanation of Lair of the Shadow Broker on Mass Effect Wikia, and found out that if you didn't romance Liara, she would say that she didn't want to take advantage of Feron's state when it comes to a romance, indicating there could've been something between them, that's what ticked for me. That was also the reason why I went on and played Lair of the Shadow Broker as soon as I could, to calm down. Now I just wish you could go to the Shadow Broker's ship after every mission, and get a small conversation with Liara, like you can with your Normandy crew.

In an alternate universe, with a Shepard who's not Alice, who's not romancing Liara, I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Seeing as Alice is all I've got, though...

Don't feel bad, Rob.  I was happy to confirm that for you.  And besides, I have 4 other Shepard with Liara from ME1.  It's been intersting seeing the difference.  Hell, there is a difference if you romanced Liara in ME1 and didn't do the LotSB DLC.  The writers did a wonderful job with the little differences in it.

Leia was the only Shep I'll import without the DLC included.  I wanted one run without any DLC and I used my file from my first run of ME2.  Which had no Tali or Mordin.  :(  And the only run I will side with the Geth over the Quarians.  Not having Tali made that choice easy.  I didn't have Legion either.  He was left unactivated on the Normandy.  I forgot to talk to him before jumping through the Omega-4 relay.

I know they said we should not import your Shepard right away to see the difference, but I am seeing the difference by not doing things in the other two games.  I don't think I'll use a default Shepard in ME3.  I've seen how it is set up.  Don't like.  I would rather deal with Wrex than Wreav.

It does she'll only say "I Love you" with a loyal Shepard who started the Romance in ME1. A cheating Shepard gets "I'm glad we're doing this" and new romance gets "I never thought we'd be together like this, it means a lot to me."

Does anyone know if this staying loyal is affected by having dinner, and dinner only, with Kelly? I only wanted her to feed my fish... I also read you can only have a romance with Kelly in Me3 if you invited her up to your cabin after the collector base, so I'm assuming that Liara wouldn't count just dinner as infedelity, as it's not considered enough to initiate a romance in ME3?

It doesn't seem to.  My wife's Shep had Kelly do the awkward sexy dance so she could get her fish fed, and so far it hasn't seemed to have affected the continuation of the romance.
