I have no idea actually. On the Shepard I imported I fed my fish on my own all the time, didn't feel like chatting Kelly up so I do not know. I've got a few Sheps who did have dinner with Kelly just so she could feed my fish. I seriously hope that didn't screw my Shepards out of the 'I love you' scene with Liara. Won't be replaying ME3 until they fix the endings though.

The reason why people wear glasses as an accessory is the same reason why people wear jewelry or belts etc. It's just fashion, personal taste and expression of individuality and has nothing to do with eyesight. So if someone looks sexier or more intelligent with glasses, I can understand why they would wear glasses even if their eyesight was fine. So I don't have a problem with it. 

As far as Liara is concerned...she looks beautiful and hot, no matter what.

It doesn't seem to.  My wife's Shep had Kelly do the awkward sexy dance so she could get her fish fed, and so far it hasn't seemed to have affected the continuation of the romance.

Ah ok... I just really want to hear those "I love you" words 

So I seriously hope that having dinner isn't considered as infidelity

Yeah I know that, but it would be a waste not to do it, romance or no romance with Liara, because it's a quite cool DLC. I'd love if Bioware did something for Mass Effect 3 with that, as another DLC to come.

Kelly is not a romance anyway.  The trigger is the picture being up or down.  I stepped out on Liara with what I call tool femShep with Garrus.  I broke it off with him because it was what Liara wanted.  Her picture went back up.  If you break it off with the LI in ME2, the import will say you didn't have a LI in ME2.  Even though you really did.  It's like how Liara gets very snippy with you on the 3rd interrupt on Illium and calls you out on being with someone else.  Then you do the kiss interrupt and Liara forgets all about your new lover.  Even though her pic was still down at that point.  Hell, it was still down when Liara visited Shepard on the Normandy.  It wasn't until after I went back and had to get all flirty with Thane in order to break it off with Garrus.  I don't know what to do with that now.  Still undecided.  Sad I know.

The writers did a wonderful job with the little differences in it.

And yes, the writers did really account for almost every variation when it came to romances. It's great. I won't get to see it though since I'm too boring and hate variation in my playthroughs when it comes to romances. All of my Sheps (7 in total) romanced Liara in ME1 and stayed faithfull to her.

It's BioWare's fault though, they shouldn't have added such a perfect LI that beats all the others. But I'm glad they did it anyway.

I don't think so, no.  No matter what you do with Kelly, regardless of any romantic connections you may have / have had, it will not grant the Paramour achievement, which makes me think that it has no impact on the "status" of your relationship.  

I romanced Liara in ME1, stayed faithful in ME2 and then reaffirmed my desire to be with her ("Marriage, old-age...a lot of little, blue children.") and, come ME3, I once again had to reassure her she was the only one for me and, later on, she made my day by saying she loved me.

Alright blue team, I'm working on a short fic and I need to come up with a name for a type of dance which is to the asari what ballet would be to humans. Something more formal and artistic and less gyrations and stripper heels. Any ideas?

If you had romanced someone other than Liara, Aethtya will comment about Liara being single.  Instead of the peeling Shepard's clothes off or popping the heat sink.  Or panties on fire comment I got with single Shepard.

I'll record it, so you can see what I am talking about.

On another note:

There is a point during the Lair of the Shadow Broker where Liara gives you a shy / sad smile that just makes me melt. So, using a screencap for reference, I decided to try and capture that look - to say it took me very little time to do, I think it came put pretty good!





You may note a lack of detail but the pic is on my "to colour" pile and a lot of her detail will (hopefully) be rendered when it's done.

I used the screencap because while I can draw from an image on a screen, I am lousy at drawing from memory / using my mind's eye. I'm also pretty inexperienced when it comes to drawing human / human-like faces after so long focusing on anthropomorphs (Yes, I am a furry).

Anyway...enjoy (please)

I then proceeded to get the paramour achievement with her... I'll always remember that I got that not with Liara :'(

Curiosity killed the cat seems pretty fitting right now...

The picture of the LI is the trigger for the import.  I have a Shep that was with Garrus and I broke it off with him and it says I had no ME2 romance.  Which is true and not true.  FemShep head bumped with Garrus then got back with Liara during the DLC.  Then I ended it with Garrus. The picture is what is important.  Like I thought it would.   Kelly never affected the picture going up or down.  In my 1st run, Kelly did her stripper dance for Leia and Liara never once said anything about Kelly and that dance. 

Kelly was nothing but a faux romance anyway.  All Kelly does for you is give you back your fish.  Which you can buy anyway except for 1 and that fish you get in NG+ and have to talk to Liara on the Normandy about.  That is the bonus for NG+  according to the guide.

I guess 'asari ballet' won't cut it?  


I'd just make up an asari sounding word with lots of 'a's or 'i's.

I found the chess scene to be much better regardless.

Shepard completely sucks at chess...who would have guessed?

I've found the video where you're not being single though. I enjoyed that conversation, and like I mentioned earlier, mind ran wild with the idea of Liara peeling Shepard out of his / her uniform. I literally commented "Now that's DLC content I'd love to see"

No need to record it for the single aspect. I'm sure I can find some on Youtube should I need to see it. Besides, it'd be a bit of trouble going through just for a recording, wouldn't it? No need for such efforts just for me
