That said, I saved before I invited Traynor up to my quarters, just so I could out of curiosity see how her romance played out, and then re-load and just play chess with her after... I then proceeded to get the paramour achievement with her... I'll always remember that I got that not with Liara :'(

Curiosity killed the cat seems pretty fitting right now...

Leia didn't let Traynor even take the shower.  Her love is two decks down.  They only played chess.

Along with the fact Liara has probably bugged Sheps room? :3

Alright blue team, I'm working on a short fic and I need to come up with a name for a type of dance which is to the asari what ballet would be to humans. Something more formal and artistic and less gyrations and stripper heels. Any ideas?

"Motion of the waves" ?

@cohina:

You talk about people who have to wear glasses because they have poor eyesight and I can understand that most of those people (including you) would not wear them if they didn't have to because it's forced upon them.

The reason why people wear glasses as an accessory is the same reason why people wear jewelry or belts etc. It's just fashion, personal taste and expression of individuality and has nothing to do with eyesight. So if someone looks sexier or more intelligent with glasses, I can understand why they would wear glasses even if their eyesight was fine. So I don't have a problem with it. ;)

As far as Liara is concerned...she looks beautiful and hot, no matter what.

Yeah, I was just speaking kinda in general here, when I saw "glasses as an accessory". I get the point, but I've just never been able to see glasses as as an accessory, not even before my eyesight got so poor that I needed to get glasses (about a year ago or something), so I've thought fake glasses look stupid even before I had to start wearing real ones myself ;). But again, that's just my opinion...

And we both agree that Liara is hot and beautiful and that's all that matters in this thread anyway <3, so I'll just drop this fake glasses topic now .

Most likely yes. She said before her romance scene that she didn't respect Shep's privacy didn't she?^_^

She can disrespect Shepard's privacy any day, any hour.

Not to mention she shared that vision only with very good friends. Or bondmates. I almost cried when she said that. That was almost a proposal right there.

I think it went further than that. The little pause before she says "..or their bondmates" was something I took to mean that as far as Liara's concerned, she and Shepard are already bondmates. In effect, BioWare and the godchildaithing took away Shepard and Liara's honeymoon.

Grr.

Yeah I didn't let her have a shower on the save I kept. I just mocked her about her obsession with chess :P

New Game Plus.  You import a Shepard from ME3 instead of ME2.  It allows you to continue to level up to level 60 and I think that is the only way to get the weapons to level 10 without playing MP.  Level V on the weapons is all I have so far.

Robhuzz-Leia doesn't mind that Liara is spying on her.  Actually, it a weird way, she is glad.  She has nothing to hide from Liara and as far as Leia is concerned.  Her quarters is also Liara's even though Liara has her office two decks down with her own bed and couch.

I think technically the honeymoon was the fight leading to the citadel beam thing.  There's nothing more romantic than killing banshees and brutes together in the moonlight (or, the beamlight in this case).

When new members post pictures the forum automatically removes them.
It was introduced after countless bots and idiots invaded the BSN to spam the forums with nonsensical pictures.
Unfortunately I have no idea what the exact requirements are for that restriction to be removed...

Grr, freaking Harbinger ruined the honeymoon. Freaking space magic then had to teleport Liara to another planet with no way to return. Fate doesn't look kindly on their relationship right now...

Ah yes, Traynor. I didn't know what was going on, until she was in my femShep's shower and DIDN'T close the door.
Story of my life....
I bet Liara could beat Shepard's ass even in three-dimensional chess. She is so freaky smart.

A couple who rips enemies apart with mass effect fields together stays together.

Harbinger was still butthurt over the Collector base thing.

So, he indoctrinated Shepard in order to ruin the honeymoon.

One more point for indoctrination theory.

I'm currently playing the Ardat Yakshi temple quest and chuckled to myself because of this conversation:

Javik: "The asari should have rid themselves from the Ardat Yakshi. My people would have never let such monsters walk among them."
Liara: "They didn't care for the competition?"
Javik: "Bah."

Now that's my girl. B)

Bwahaha - that's great.

Sad thing beeing: If they had given us something like this (a tiny bit more serious) in the actual game - based on choices you made and relationships you formed - the outcry and general frustration would probably allready have been much smaller in scale than what we see now ...

Wonder if it's actually something like this they are planning to add now?

I would somehow actually be able to settle.. somewhat, with that. Like I said earlier, I don't need closure, I need an ending that makes sense!

But I'd love that, something sort of serious to the extend of like Band of Brothers ending, which was a neat emotional thing as well.

It's hard to pick between taking Garrus or Javik with Shepard and Liara.  Both have great lines.  Javik is a must on Thessia though.

Ahaha! I'm not sure which one made me laugh more, that one or the "Hitler finds out about Mass Effect 3's Ending." Both cheered me up.

So I know a lot of people like to come here for the sexy Liara photos and blue boob discourse (I can't believe there was that much speculation about the size, you guys crack me up) but I come here because I got cold-clocked somewhere in the middle of LotSB with how awesome a character Liara is and I like seeing like-minded fans appreciate her.

I've been forcing my way through ME1 again (it hurts ... being on the Citadel) and it's neat going back through with this new ... blue tinted appreciation. I notice that she doesn't use contractions for the first part of the game and her speech is very uncertain and formal. She also said something about liking solitude, so now I can really see why being the Shadow Broker appealled so much to her. I like her subtle introversion and how it translates to her being pretty serious most of the time.

Anyhoo, thought I'd share, carry on.

Ok, I will not talk about it any longer.

But at least they name her "Shepard". Image IPB

@WardyLion - Just look at the nude Liara and you will see that she isn't large. She looks like maybe a B or at most C cup. Not big at all. Thanks Wasserfrau for the show & tell! Picture by my hero, better known as FdL_Ananas. Image IPB

@CrutchCricket - Welcome back. I saw you post on the Miranda thread yesterday. Are you coming out of the shock yet of ME3? *gives hug* I know how you feel.

@Ferbian - Liara in the bedroom is more dominant than EW as well. Not that either is a "lie on your back" kind of lover though. Liara is not a push over, she knows what she wants, can hold her own and manipulates as needed. These are qualities that really work to her advantage behind closed doors ... at least in my headcanon.

To matron or not to matron? In mine she is still a maiden but to each his own. Tequila shots for everyone! "Doozer, check ID's ... Karmen, get the glasses while I get the liquid!"

@Robhuzz - that's how I felt about her comment. She used that line of  "All those little blue children will be disappointed I didn't have a speech"? as a joke between the two. It was a really cute moment to me at a very sad time. And Liara was not giving Shepard a pass to die when she said goodbye. She 100% expected her Commander to come back. That is my story and I'm sticking to it!

@WardyLion - Liara loves all Shepards equally ... male or female.

@Ferbian - A part of me wanted to punch the drell before Liara said that she was "taken". I'm glad that we didn't have a Jacob Taylor pulled on us there. Drell lovin' & pregnant Liara.

To Mass Effect 3 players, from Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder of BioWare - Still not believing that there will be a fix until it is announced. Bioware has to be careful how they handle this to be honest. They can't say they failed at the ending so ...

@ladyvader - If you didn't do the LotSB do you see or hear anything about Tela Vasir, the SpecTRe?

@cohina - but women in glasses is hot!

@Minimooo - first time Traynor got in the shower I just couldn't help myself. But I reloaded after and played chess only. I wish there was a way you could play chess first and then shower (optional of course) since the chess match is cute. I like Traynor as a pal and watching her relationship on youtube it is cute with the "two kids and picket fence" dialogue. I jsu wish that Ashley would have been opened up to femShep. The dialogue they would have had ... *shakes head and pouts*.

And I think I'm caught up for the moment.
