Yeah I saw her as a comparable age to Shepard, which was why Shepard might have been a little surprised to find out Liara had never slept with anyone before.

Holy crap. I just watched a vid of my single femShep from ME1 and the debrief with Liara at that point. I really did change how she looked. Damn stupid import not working right. That is the one thing I want fixed. I want Shepard to look how I created them in ME1.

Here is a link to the vid from ME1 and the debrief with Liara with single femShep. Yes, she changed, because I didn't know her code. The only code from ME1 I know is Leia, my canon femShep.

Well, even if the import does work it's far from guaranteed that the result closely resembles their predecessors. I complain far too much about it, but there are times where I don't recognize my ME1 /2 femshep at all in ME3

@ everyone else on this age thing, first gotta say to each their own but personally i always viewed Liara in her mid 20's and Tali in her early 20's mostly because that's my age group right now, but as i said to each their own.

God i finally caught up, almost a day wasted at work of incessant reading but i'm caught up, now if the lot of you wouldn't post 15 pages every time i look away from the pc i could be happy again.  also because i just love it here's deventh's pic again

I don't really like the song myself. however this one is quite a good one too. I'm still disliking the usage of this shepard, because I don't like the looks, but the song is quite good, lacks Mass Effect 3 clips though, sadly.

hey i never said karmen put me up to this, nice fancy word by the way,  and i never said liara was a virgin just that i viewed her as being early-mid 20s like in my age group.  I just thought everyone should know that you hate blue babies

Yeah, I just went ahead and talked with them, didn't go renegade choices and such, so it kinda ended up that way. But Liara was the choice all the way anyway in my latest playthrough. I'm still trying to see how I can be the least renegade, and still deny all my current crew members. I managed with Jack just fine, but Miranda and Tali is another thing.

Yeah, I just say Rachel sometimes for ease of reference.

I know the pain, I accidentally found myself averagely browins this thread every 15-20 minutes through my work day, simply because I didn't want to skim through 15-20 pages due to work. Not sure if it affected my work or not, I did get stuff done, thankfully.

Noticing the first part of that video Deventh, actually made me think how Mass Effect 1 didn't really seem like a massive romance between Liara and Shepard. The way Liara just approaches about joining and such, makes it seem like a simple fling. It's as if the romance didn't really fire up until 2 (Lair of the shadow broker) and 3.

At first perhaps. I felt Liara was simply curious and (though I really should not bring it up again) inexperienced with romances. I still felt they shared more than a simple fling even though there's only the almost-kiss at the locker and the romance scene. Lotsb elevated this romance into something more and ME3 just made it the most realistic and beautiful romance I've ever seen in a game. Now we just have to wait for some proper endings so I can finish this story either with an epilogue or in my head:)
