I have to say that most of those Liara & Shep tributes are... ehm... how would I put it... the videos themselves are not bad at all, most of them are pretty well made, it's just the music that makes me to close Youtube after 3 seconds of watching. Idk, maybe those songs are just too cheesy for my taste...

Noticing the first part of that video Deventh, actually made me think how Mass Effect 1 didn't really seem like a massive romance between Liara and Shepard. The way Liara just approaches about joining and such, makes it seem like a simple fling. It's as if the romance didn't really fire up until 2 (Lair of the shadow broker) and 3.

Yeah that was the start of their relationship. They weren't really sure until ME2, but i still think that ME1 romance-wise was really amazingly done.

I think that us males seem to be in the minority purely because, as in real life, the women talk a lot and all the time.

At first perhaps. I felt Liara was simply curious and (though I really should not bring it up again) inexperienced with romances. I still felt they shared more than a simple fling even though there's only the almost-kiss at the locker and the romance scene. Lotsb elevated this romance into something more and ME3 just made it the most realistic and beautiful romance I've ever seen in a game. Now we just have to wait for some proper endings so I can finish this story either with an epilogue or in my head:)

Yeah sure, there was a bit of the inexperienced feeling and all, but that is what made it seem like a bit of a casual fling, something to slowly progress along without being serious and forever you and I sort of thing.

I'd like to think the reason behind the romance suddenly taking off in Mass Effect 2, was Liara getting 2 years to sit and mourn Shepard, think about their relationship ,come to term with things and such.

Oh and for you Logan, male here as well, if it wasn't obvious from some of my previous posts

Oh and, damn do I love the instrumental version of Mass Effect 1's credit song.

Retake the Liara thread, huh? In that case I'm in too, here's another +1, or actually I count as 2, cause I'm so good , nah j/k (yeah, I know, bad joke, forgive me, I'm tired ), +1!, so that makes like 6 males or something? Yep, we're definitely retaking the thread slowly but steadily.

Looks great, really well done. And indeed, it's pretty sad that Liara, Garrus and Shepard will most likely not make it up to the future ME games. On the other hand, maybe it's even good, because these characters were so colourful, sophisticated and unique that it is better to remember them as something perfect and you can be sure that something is perfect and will remain ideal only if it's in the past, unfortunately.
