Oh yes that! Hmmn we all know what really happened to Shepard at the end of ME3, IT WAS BLOOD MAGIC!
Dun dun dunn!
And then The Shepard became The Maker. And Andraste was actually a resurrection of Liara. And then because they hated on her in Thedas, Shepard got godly pissed and gave them The Blight! It all makes sense now.
Also those fools didn't know He was actually a She all along. More Blight!

I agree that the freckles are awsome. My main gripe with that scene is that fshep sounds a bit shaky with her last line. I prefer the import version of the romance TBH.
More shiny colours for endings! There was that giant light that came out of the Chantry, maybe that's related to ME?
Also, I knew Jason O'Mara was tasty. I saw him with his shirt off, on Life on Mars... And... er... I think that was the first time I ever said, I'd go gay for a guy. Something about the chiseled jaw and curly hair.
And which scene are we talking about? FemShep a'seducin Liara for the first time? I thought it was all sorts of cute though, like they have no idea how to approach it. Look at them, "middle-aged" women with no idea on how to get a relationship started. I can relate.

It was kind of cute but rushed. Given the history of the two, even the somewhat condensed version of it new players get, it could have been a pretty damn good scene. After a little of her ME1 awkwardness, I think Liara should have paused and said something along the lines of; "I was wondering when you were going to finally come around."

It's kind of scary how much sense this makes...maybe that's why they need to destroy the relays...no space travel in DA. Husks are darkspawn....reapers are archdemons....scaaaary! And the desire demons look like asari with a hair cut gone wrong or tentacle cut or whatever you wanna call it! The cycle continues even in DA.
Anyone noticed the ogre statue in Kasumi's loyalty mission in ME2? That might have been a hint!

That's right folks, you heard it here first. ME 3 actually leads on to DA.
Stargazer scene was pish to throw everyone off. Just you wait.

Here's a concern ... what if the DLC only makes the final moments worse. That somehow Bioware screwed it up more. Is that possible? I keep hearing people say "well I can deal with Shepard dying" ... well, not me dang it. I want a live and die option. And if they don't understand how we felt gutted by the ending then will they really know how to give a revised final act? Sorry, just thinking out loud.
That's actually my biggest concern, too. They apparently don't understand why we don't like the ending so how will they build a "good" ending on that? They will most likely use PAX to explain to us why we are too dumb to understand and then (if we're lucky) feed us some DAO style epiloge (which was great in DAO but will no longer fit to ME3....not after all these protests)Somehow that makes me sad
More pics please....need some distraction!
completely agree with you, we wont get much more than that, i think Dr Ray post was pretty clear, they will explain us dumbasses what happen but no way they are re-doing the end

I think she swaps years with months. The game code is busted it can't recognize the flag at all but going by the hacked dialogue files that was the big switch, she actually knew how long it was since she last saw Shepard.

Every time I see your avatar I think of Caprica 6. EDI.
And that little bit of dialogue is just a bit of flavour, but in the grand scheme of Liaramance, nothing terribly significant or game breaking. In fact I don't think I even noticed it, entranced as I was by all that blue. Plus it's so cute that they're totally flirty throughout the game. Except when it's time for gameface, or when Liara runs out of things to say, like DA 2<_<

I didn't even notice my first playthrough. I thought she said something like, "It's been years since we've been together."
Then Shepard give Liara an eye exam

for free! She's nice like that.

I won't lie one of my life goals is to draw/write/compose something about Liara and have it posted in this thread and then act like it's not my work and stroke my own ego. Ok that last part I just made up but seriously.
OK ... How about a little dirty limerick?
I also just watched vids on killing Wrex & Mordin in ME3 - WTF? That Shepard should be shot or at least dumped by Liara if she is with him/her! What a back-stabbing jerk!
I haven't seen them nor will I watch them. My renegades won't even go that far. Being brutal and even ruthless to the enemy is just that - 'to the enemy'. If you treat allies like that, you won't have any for long... may as well be a Reaper.
Liara said he did things she didn't agree with but respects him and considers him a good friend. Time capsule scene. I think it's easier to screw over the krogan with the genophage if Wreav is in charge and not Wrex. Wrex has funny lines and Wreav...meh.
From what I have noticed the only bugged dialogue is the first talk on the Normandy when Liara says years instead of months. I doubt it gets fixed. I would like for it to get fixed. There are differences in the dialogue in the romance scenes with Liara if you did the DLC vs not doing the DLC. Then there is even more difference is you didn't romance Liara until ME3. Very very different.
I'll have the cabin scene either late tonight or tomorrow. I'm about to go to Thessia next.. And about that. Does anyone want a recording of what Javik says when they are at the temple when you are looking at the artifacts?

I'll have both later tonight(it's 10:45am for me now) or tomorrow. I think if you take anyone else, their lines are the same, but Javik has different lines. It seems to me both Garrus and EDI were saying the same things and Liara was still not believing it or not wanting to anyway until the statue broke up to reveal the beacon.jlb524 wrote...

It's kinda weird to look how this thread is 9 months old and 851 pages, yet we've progressed like 50 pages in 2 days, and thus it shall be celebrated by more (and more, and more!!) Liara photos!

Edit: Grumble, I want to be able to post pictures! Damn you Bioware!

Yes, I know then you see the romance scenes in ME2 with dry humping or in Garrus' case a head bump. <_<Ferbian wrote...
The whole "embrace eternity" black eyed look that Liara gets in the scenes is something that I have never liked, just looks weird to me. The Mass Effect 1 scene is very well handled, and certain parts of the Mass Effect 3 is just fantastic (like the brief color wave thing)
I don't have a problem with the black eyes when they meld. I did notice that Samara and the asari you talk to on Illium about the rachni queen that their eyes turned white not black. I wonder if that changes as the asari get older. Something we may never know.
They did the color change when Shepard went into the capsule thingy to take out the reaper code on Rannoch.

I'm also a straight girl and I love the Shep/Liara romance too - doesn't matter which Shep. It's well written, full of chemistry and the overall story is so sweet. Besides, Liara is an epic character even if friend-zoned. I personally don't care for the porn-ish depictions, but I understand that people are fans for various reasons. I think it's a testiment to good character creation when so many people like Liara for many different reasons.
Anyhoo, I support fandom of T'soni. I hope her creators are proud of her. And I'm so done with this post and fighting auto correct.
