This is getting entertaining.

That's certainly an interesting word for it.

That texture is phenomenal!  Bravo, Bioware!  It was great to see Liara looking less human this time 'round.

So I'm guessing my idea of the Liara tribute is kinda smashed. Just thought that song in particular was perfect, but hey, opinions are opinions. Will keep this idea to myself.

Wasn't sure if I liked the scalyness at first, but then it grew on me and now it's like "Omg I just haaaaf to feel that" *Imaginary rub stroke massage*

I picture it..uhm, smooth but with a 'lil bit of texture, and warm to the touch ;o

Since they're technically the universal go-to-breeding race, I'd imagine they have a taste appealing to every race.

So I had this idea on how to make
kind of a tribute for Liara, but since I suck at video editting and
capturing I would require help.
My idea is to take footage from her
throughout the games, reflecting upon her bright and dark sides, but in
the end, showing that she loves Shepard, and he/she loves her more than
anything in the universe.
In my opinion, the tribute would need a
proper track to set the right mood, and I think I have just the one.
It's called Mordecai, by Between the Buried and Me. It's basicly a song
about how much humanity has become a species only aiming towards
personal comfort and satisfaction, while the last half of the song is
about how we only ned the love of our life to be truly happy.
Only
one problem, though. The first half of the song is straight up death
metal. It makes a point in reflecting upon horror and disclosure, but
the second half is just beautiful (especially the ending). Imagening
putting footage of Liara in this song makes me happy, gives me
goosebumbs all the time. I would appreciate i anyone at least could
agree with this being a solid idea.
Here's the song (the link will
take you straght to the beauty of the song, so listen through to the
end, please). Hope you like it. http://youtu.be/EylaJ8rnjYM?t=2m32s
Thanks for your time.

While I won't shoot down the idea of you going ahead and using it, I personally see it as a bit too heavy for a 'love' tribute sort of thing. I get why you like the ending part though, it's pretty good. But overall I probably wouldn't use it myself.

I have the idea that something Placebo would be great for some of the tributes. Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing or Sleeping With Ghosts. Sleeping With Ghosts would be great for some sort of fan fiction based story with showing Liara mourning Shepard (In the years of Mass Effect 2, or after the ending of Mass Effect 3) with various clips of Shepard alone, and Shepard / Liara together. But that's just my idea, but if you wish you could draw some inspiration for that :)

No, sorry. If all I get for this idea is one person replying, and that reply basicly saying that my choice of music is terrible, then I can't see myself doing this. Just not gonna happen.

It's not terrible, just not fitting for what you had in mind. But that's simply my opinion, someone might think otherwise. You can't base the common viewers opinion based on one person, that's why all the major companies have betas and feedbacks and such.

For what you have in mind, I just personally find the usage of something a little softer more appropriate, and if it needs a bit of a 'dark' theme, Placebo just so happens to provide great stuff for that, hence my recommendation for said songs.

I want to steal your sig!!!!!!!!

But, yeah... Liara... I don't think I'd divulge information about how Liara tastes. Gotta keep some secrets.

For starters, Liara would never tell Kaidan, or especially Joker how Rachel tastes.

Though I fear Javik may know.... He's so creepy!

I thought of something, If EDI IS the ship, does it mean that she is around everywhere and can listen in to every conversation on the Normandy? I can see her and Joker sharing a bowl of popcorn over Shep and Liara's private moment

EDI may know, but Javik can sense. And EDI's a girl, that makes it only slightly less gross than knowing a 50,000 year old man can sense you..... *shudders*

EDI does not only see and know, she studies. As in scientifically observing and taking notes studying. Problem is: Joker is a man. And Shepard and Liara are missing a critical body part for EDIs research. :D

Got a question to ask... during the Liara cutscene on the Citadel where you can ask to spend your life with her, is the response you give always "I dont want to be friends, I want more" even if you done the romance over the three games or is that just a glitch in my save?

It's not a glitch. I think BioWare gives you a chance to go with another person/romance at this point and if you choose Liara then you would (i guess?) spend the rest of your life with her. Which ironically is a few days lol, bioware!

I guess that might be part of his sensory perception thing.

That could be a bad thing, though...

Thought I'd share this with you guys. I'm going to sound crazy to some people since Liara is "just" character in a game (although arguably no more crazier than everyone else in here, which is why I'm posting to you guys ;)) - Liara has inspired me to fix up my life.

To explain why I'll have to tell you about what Liara's character comes across to me, some may disagree with my interpretation, but this is how she is in my headcanon.

To me she starts out in ME1 as a kinda shy, socially awkward academic researcher; she hides the shyness and awkwardness behind formality. She has spent a lot of time alone and the main thing in her life is her work and she's spent her "youth" building up to that. She's happy that she's doing what she always wanted to do, but its been at the expense of other things and isn't happy with the personal side of her life. She meets an inspirational person (Shepard) and finds many positive qualities in her to draw upon. Shepard makes her realise that she doesn't have to be governed by the "winds of fate" and doesn't have to submit to inevitability, she can make a difference to her own life and to other people if she wants. Over the time afterwards she makes changes to her life and makes decisions in pursuit of new goals she has decided on and grows in confidence. By the third she is self-confident and completely happy with herself as a result of all of this and is with the love of her life.

These were all things that came to me when I was thinking about the amazing character development of Liara and I had a revelation. I AM Liara; at least the Liara as I first met her. I'm someone who has spent the past six years since leaving school doing nothing but focussing on getting the PhD that I'm currently working on. All at the expense of social life and so on. As a result I'm quite reserved and lack self-confidence for various reasons. And I'm happy about heading towards achieving my academic goals but am unhappy with the rest of my life.

Then I "met" Liara, or more specifically I saw her develop over the course of the series.

And now I'm thinking "why the hell can't I do that"? Why can't I start DOING SOMETHING about the things I'm unhappy about? For a while I've been resigned to it but Liara gives me the urge to throw that off. To that end I've made a start; part of having low self-confidence is how horribly unfit (a little overweight, but mostly just horrendously unfit) I am which is a result of working in a laboratory all day and coming home and lounging around all night reading, playing games or sometimes watching TV. These past few days I've been forcing myself to go out for an hour long brisk walk after work, to get my legs used to working like that for extended periods again. This weekend I'm going out to buy some new trainers and some sports clothing and starting at the weekend I'm going out jogging/running every single day. I've also completely changed my diet.

Where I go from there I've not decided yet; its only the first step. It'd be nice to think things will pan out as they did for Liara, what with finding true love and all that jazz, but the future is an enigma.

But if you want to change your life for the better, you totally can if you just try. And Liara deserves credit for giving me the inspiration needed to realise that and start.

Thanks Liara. Much love. ^_^

Salarian: I can understand why I might find asari attractive. But how can they be attractive to humans, too? They look just like salarians!

Human: What? They look exactly like us! I'm... I'm not seeing the salarian thing at all. At all.

Turian: You're both wrong. Asari look just like blue turians. Look at the head-fringe!

Human: Wait. You don't think they're, like, mind-controlling us to see them as attractive, do you?

No, you're not crazy for finding inspiration in fiction.  It happens to people all the time.  It seems to have been a good thing in this case :)
