Saw that, it's as full of crap as the actual ending.
Half Asari/Human child. Really?<_<
And even if it was misread then even if that scene takes place 10.000 years after ME3 it says NOTHING. Not sure if this post is meant pro or anti- ending or pro or anti- Indoctrination Theory though...

That's really weird b/c
"We see a child, maybe they look a little bit asari, a little bit human. They are looking at the stars on a planet some 10,000 years after the events of the game."
1) Asari offspring are asari
2) Asari children look 'a little bit human' already. And a little bit asari. So...the child would just be an asari.

You left out the fact that the child in the scene is a boy, and all asari children would be girls.

interesting but probably trolling for the above reasons, also i just noticed this on my 2nd playthrough but in the stargazer scene when you see the sky it looks like Earth and the moon are hovering in close orbit around where the child/grandpa is

I doubt building another mass relay system will take them less than 10 000 years. EVEN if they do build another thing like that it would take a large amount of time and species can evolve in a different way. Male Asari? If this is true i'm done with this game for good.MaroAlighieri wrote...
Yeah, uh, 10k years and they still haven't gotten into space? They MUST be inbreds...

But after finishing the third game, and being depressed for days, I came to realize that maybe there's a big reason why I feel the way I do about her? The answer I've come up with is that Liara represents what I'm missing in my real life. She's just like the woman I'd like to spend the rest of my life with. Sad thing is that I can't define it. I can't write down all the things I enjoy about her, because I can't explain it - she's just... like that. And that depresses me even more, as it still offers me a little hope.
This is mostly because it has made me realize that the ultimate thing the human mind can experience is love. Need a reason to live? Love is the effing answer. The only thing keeping me from staying in the imagination world, in which I'm with Liara, is that I understand that that's not good enough. She doesn't love me, she loves Shepard (and yes, she's a fictional character, I'm not freaking crazy). I also cannot rely on BioWare keeping making new content about her, so I can't promise to always come back.
So, my goal in life will be to find a human being that affects me like LiaraT'soni has done in Mass Effect. If I were to choose right now, I'd choose her to be real, but she's not. But since I've felt like this for a fictional character, it should be possible to feel the same way for a real person. In fact, it should be able to feel even better.
Sorry if this seems insane.

@Deventh Reaching space =/= new mass relays. We've been sending people into space for decades. If they can't even get a ship out there...ugh. Back to Liara.

Not that I'd complain for being able to catch up in a reasonable time for once
EDI has access to Jokers porn collection. I guess that would suffice for detailed studies of pretty much all sorts of naughty bits the Mass Effect Universe has to offer.Wasserfrau wrote...

EDI does not only see and know, she studies. As in scientifically observing and taking notes studying. Problem is: Joker is a man. And Shepard and Liara are missing a critical body part for EDIs research.![]()
Which makes the question why she spies on Shep / Liara all the more ... interesting?
And we are often so convinced by it that it becomes true in our heads. Q.E.D. it's not just a mythWasserfrau wrote...

Didn't we have a writer of Bioware in the thread who comfirmed this? Must have been around ME3's release ...Deventh wrote...
It's not
a glitch. I think BioWare gives you a chance to go with another
person/romance at this point and if you choose Liara then you would (i
guess?) spend the rest of your life with her. Which ironically is a few
days lol, bioware!
Yes, this sounds very fishy. Either trolling or BW considered something ... strange?jlb524 wrote...

Also lets just say that the kid is Liara's and Sheps descendant why would they mention him as "The Shepard", like he's a god instead of something else like great grandad or something denoting the family connection. personally i think that Shepard locked the reapers in a time lock and watched them burn while he swept Liara up in his Tardis.... i mean normandy, yeah normandy, and went to go save and explore the galaxy, because Shepard is a timelord:happy: I should probably stop mashing together sci-fi universes but Doctor Who is a fun time, something we all need in such horrid times

Do you think many people will remember anyone at all 10 000 years after? They passed the stories as Shepard became a LEGEND (just as it was said by BioWare themselves) I just hope to god that they don't go that way.moreeman06 wrote...
