A statue of our favorite blue stalker-scientist? Awesome!

As long as you don't mind that Anime-esque style. I reccomend looking at Kotobukiya's other Bushido style statues.

Personally, I will be pre-ordering this thing soon.

What do you mean? Having Liara in your party? Or replacing her ME2 office look with the LOTSB one? Because if it's the last one, you might not want it. I saw a picture with the lighting on the LOTSB version of her, and it made me scream in horror.

I assume you'd need TexMod and her LotSB skin, but I haven't found one for ME2 yet. I've been playing through ME1 with her LotSB skin and aside from the fact that the bump-mapping is missing (so it looks smoother than it should), it looks great!

Can I ask someone in this thread's opinion? I'm just about to start Mass Effect 2 with my loyal-to-Liara playthrough and I'm wondering when the best time to do LOTSB is, before or after the suicide mission. I've played it both ways before but never when I was romancing Liara. Any suggestions? :wizard:

I'd recommend doing the LotSB right before the suicide mission that way the segment where you two are catching up on the Normandy will be near where other romances happen right before you go through the Omega 4 Relay.

Personally, I treat the main part of LotSB as Shepard's own "Loyalty Mission", so I do it before the SM.  But I wait to invite Liara back for drinks until afterward, sort of as an incentive to come back from the SM.  My choice to do it early is largely due to the fact that I picked up LotSB before I finished my first playthrough, whereas most of the people on these boards aren't as Johnny-come-lately as I am, and probably first played it with a finished playthrough.

Ultimately, though, it doesn't really matter.  It's just a personal choice, and I don't think it affects the romance in any way.

I usally play it after the SM but there are some weapons upgrades and resources that can help you during the SM. When I do play it before the SM I generally have the date with Liara after the SM. I feel it's Shepard's reward to herself plus it gives her something to look forward too.

Do Lotsb later in the game (around the time of the collector Ship mission seems like a nice time for me) due to the bonusus you get and the ability to respec your party members is useless if you've already finished the game. Just save the cabin scene until after you finished the SM. Just make a permanent save before talking to Liara again at that point, then instead of talking to her, leave. I like the cabin scene better when done after the SM.

That sounds nice ^_^ If you have any webpage saved where they explain how to do it i'll be very thankful if you could post it. I've never done those kind of changes, except some little things with gibbed editor, so i dont have any experience whatsoever

If im not mystaken, kumquats is playing M2 using Lotsb Liara as Shepard... so i was hoping there's some information around :(

I think that is biggest mistake the writers made too when they created the codex.  I'd rather go by what an actually asari says whether is Liara or another asari than read the codex.    Even Aria mentions that is why she called the Krogan Patriarch.  She found it funny bacause that word has no meaning for her people.

I'm more inclined to believe that Liara's line was a bit of a cop-out on the writer's part in order to assuage the "omg gay lesbian sexx simulator!!" fears.  I'm placing my money on the codex, which was written to be the inelegant delivery of the universe to us, the player.  Dialogue is a far more interesting means of conveying such information, but it's subject to literary flourishes and character-specific interpretations.

My own personal theory is that before the asari became a spacefaring species they probably did NOT see themselves as females, it was once they went met the salarians, volus, krogan, quarians, elcor, turians, and humans that it was the other races that refered to them as females, and over generations they accepted it,

TexMod

Liara's LotSB Face -> ME1   (courtesy of Sunnie22)

You'll have to dig around for a texmod file which will put her LotSB face on her ME2 model.  I haven't gotten that far yet.

Does anyone think liara may of had a quickie with feron? It's been two years since shep died and for all she knew, shep was gone permanent. I honestly don't trust her, the way shep goes in for a kiss and She backs off saying 'she does not want to put pressure on shep', personally I smell bullmanure, but incase she did, I made another fem shep that cheats with thane. Hehe liara! Tears have never tasted so good!

It's too bad this forum doesn't have an eyeroll emoticon.  Nevertheless, her having a fling with someone so soon after she met them would go completely against her character.

Marshal is right. Even though Liara has changed from ME1 to ME2, she hasn't made a Bethany/Isabella kind of twist. She wouldn't do that with Feron (if she's even interested) until much later.

Edit: Even though Feron is pretty cool and Shepard owes him for helping Liara get his body back AND saving Liara's life in the process, it'd be very bad for his health if he tried something like that with Liara...

And why would an eyerol emotion would be useful, I gave my opinion, sure it is a 'negative' liara comment that is completely against the liara love here, but there is something with liara and feron. Why would you risk your life and fight a very powerful organisation to save someone you only met, especially if they originally planned to betray you, I know I would not give a toss about them. Would you save someone who planned to sell your partners corpse for money?

Robhuss, how would you know that, two years have gone and that's a long time and liara has made some big changes, she is not her innocent self, she is going down a dark path, one that I doubt anyone could recover from after killing so much. She clearly has no guilt for miser and she says herself that she would do it again.
