Oh man.  Everytime that ending song turns up when I listen to the soundtrack I still start cry.  Yep
Liara's smile cemented that for me even though I didn't do my first run through with my canon Shepard this time.  Backwards, I know but I wasn't ready to play that Shepard yet. :/

Looks like we getting a new ending and might have those blue children after all.  Like a friend said guess if you whine and cry enough, you'll get what you want. Lol.

@ Hollow  that's what happens in my armory all the time.  plus other than Garrus and Tali my two bestie's were Wrex and later Mordin i guess i just liked the aliens better, no offence Joker/Ash/Miri etc.. fans,  so yeah Wrex and Garrus would be the blueberries uncle's and Tali there Aunt.  and i can imagine my quater Krogan daughter liking Wrex a bit more than the others if only because of heredity

You know once the war is over (I am rejecting that frellin ending) I really don't see Shepard being around her crew all that much. Tali returns to Rannoch, Wrex is back on Tuchanka, Garrus on Palaven, etc. Each is helping to rebuild their homeworlds. But she will always remember them fondly, receiving occasional letters and on every so often meeting one of them in passing (spaceports) or at special events. 
 
Where does Shepard and Liara set up house and what do they do? I really haven't gotten that far in my own headcanon to know as of yet.

Somewhere quiet.  With tree's, meadows, maybe some mountains (TOGETHER, not light years apart!).  For awhile anyways - think Liara and my Shepard would get restless after a few months of that though.  Who knows what theyd do - maybe explore some more, continue with her networks - Liara did mention she needed more agents *wink wink*

That's sounds cool.

Shepard would want to return to Mindoir but Liara would want to return to Thessia. They both would have different wants throughout the years so what happens after ME3 for me is really up in the air.

I thought after playing ME3 the answer would be there but nope. Go figure.

Yeah well he's a spacer and as far as i'm concerned the Normandy is  his home and his ship, i might just team up with Jack and go pirate some goons in the Terminus for hahas...  That was a joke.

Well... Then...did the Ash equivilent there-of have a similar effect?

 If not... I strongly recommend the Liara one - not that I wish to sound obsessive, but it was proably the best bit of the end... Although I firmly believe in every one to one's own, so pursue whomever you like. It's a big universe, afterall - there's a lot o' choices to make

It's a bug with the flags in the DLC and the game not recognizing them on your import

Ah. I don't have a playthrough with the DLC yet. I've got a week and a half off for spring break, though... Torn between another PT and doing some new fanfic... Maybe I can do both?

My canon Shep is a spacer as well. She'll keep the ship, have it officially transferred to council authority and continue her duties as a Specter. Home will be where it has been in her head since ME1... on Ilos with Liara. As it happens, it's a good place for the SB base, and there will be lots of things for Liara to dig up besides galactic data on terminals... Remember, Ilos was not Prothian (which I suspected in ME2 after the collector/Prothian reveal due to the statues on Ilos in ME1), so I'm sure she'll find some joy in discovery. Maybe some of her finds will make good toys for the kids to play with.

The relays are intact in my mind, I don't care what BW does, even with a revamped ending I hope that much stays the same. I really don't want them to chicken out with their original plan. It seems they are going to stay close to their original ideas, but brighten it up and perhaps expand on the epilogue. I do hope they get rid of the Stargazer blah though. It's implications were rather disturbing.

Also: Yea going back Thessia might be a good idea,  for Liara's sake.  After that - spacer shep needs to keep moving - as i said, restless.

Speaking of which, what does everyone think of Javik and Liara's friendship? He's kind of the ultimate disappointment, and a source for a lot of anger. Yet still tries to convince him to help her write a book with him.
