Sorry, I heard Fanfiction and TheMarshal in the same sentence and got a little excited.

Also: Yea going back Thessia might be a good idea,  for Liara's sake.  After that - spacer shep needs to keep moving - as i said, restless.

Liara will need to be with her family for awhile and Shepard understands that. She will also want to go back to her and her mother's home. When I played Thessia I really worried about her family and friends ... I worried about the places that I had seen in my own mind. Funny how headcanon can mix with the actual game as you play.

I dunno, I think my shepard would go wherever Liara wanted, but I would also think some time on Earth would be warrented.

I would try to reistablish the Council there, and try to set up a basic government to get things going again. Assign some crews to dispose of reaper corpses, and others to analyze them for usefull tech, and look for any surviving Quantum Entaglement devices, set up collective farms, water processing facilities...yadda yadda..sorry im used to playing strategy games;P

But for a home...I was thinking either something in the mountians...Or a nice pastoral feel since Liara comments on how the certain part of the Citadel reminded her of home.

Im sure some digging in the ground would be soothing right about now. And i can tease Liara about being so damned cute, with the blue child doing the same thing she did while young....awww damn thats sappy and cute. ;P

@ Hollow  that's what happens in my armory all the time.  plus other than Garrus and Tali my two bestie's were Wrex and later Mordin i guess i just liked the aliens better, no offence Joker/Ash/Miri etc.. fans,  so yeah Wrex and Garrus would be the blueberries uncle's and Tali there Aunt.  and i can imagine my quater Krogan daughter liking Wrex a bit more than the others if only because of heredity

You know once the war is over (I am rejecting that frellin ending) I really don't see Shepard being around her crew all that much. Tali returns to Rannoch, Wrex is back on Tuchanka, Garrus on Palaven, etc. Each is helping to rebuild their homeworlds. But she will always remember them fondly, receiving occasional letters and on every so often meeting one of them in passing (spaceports) or at special events. 
 
Where does Shepard and Liara set up house and what do they do? I really haven't gotten that far in my own headcanon to know as of yet.

Somewhere quiet.  With tree's, meadows, maybe some mountains (TOGETHER, not light years apart!).  For awhile anyways - think Liara and my Shepard would get restless after a few months of that though.  Who knows what theyd do - maybe explore some more, continue with her networks - Liara did mention she needed more agents *wink wink*

nice, I imagine my Parasheph to want to help rebuild after the war and given the titanic amount of good will he has build up, I see him retiring from the Alliance and joining the diplomatic corps maybe becoming the next ambassador of Earth, thus being in a position to better serve with the rebuilding efforts since killing people will not be of much help anymore , combine this with being bonded to the shadow broker and you got someone who can get things done! or so I would imagine, besides the rebuilding will allow him to continue with his vision of a galactic community (been picking anything that foments this since ME1!)  that is even more closely united than the one before 

I can imagine some nice evenings, watching the sunset/stars from some tall building overlooking a magnificent vista in the ME style in wathever is set up as the replacement of the Citadel when the two find some moments of free time, also Shephloo will grow his hair

No way to fix it unless a patch is released but it doesn't affect the other convos the flag was supposed to change that one convo to "months" from "years"

I thought it was more like 5 seconds from Shepard feeding Javik a shotgun slug, if that fight went the ME2 cat fight way one of my Shepards would have blown his 50,000 year old head off.

Might have felt bad about it later but hey she was just as upset as Liara at the time, plus Javik was a weapons grade douche bag.

Well, no. Hate sex between Liara and the Prothean.

After all, she romanticize them, only to discover how much of a jerk Javik is. And Javik considers her a primitive, yet she's probably the only one he knows that cares about what his people were. Even if he thinks what they were doesn't matter.

Lots of soap opera from that.

Well, not rushed like she did with Shepard in ME1. But I imagine they'd get close. She's probably the closest to someone caring about him not because he's the last Prothean, but because he's the last Prothean that has nothing to live for, beyond revenge. And she knows revenge.

Afterwards it would probably seem like a somewhat hasty idea, you know redecorating the cargo hold with his brains. She should have got in touch with a decorater just to run the idea by them first.

Realistically, it would take a long time if it did go in that direction. They're still pretty distant to each other near the end of ME3. Like you said, they aren't exactly friends.

Personally, I'd have to think about it. Not because of myself, but for the Asari. I mean, I feel like it'd be terrible to only live to 150, because then you'd leave your love, and your possible child alone and "fatherless" for more than 900 years.

Being in love with an Asari seems like a selfish choice.

No ... the mind meld would turn me off and the whole lifespan thing. Plus the shape of their heads and what does their skin really feel like? Smell like? Taste like? So ... no. But if I were EW Shepard? Yes.

I think the relantionship she would fit best, would be one with Kaidan, I liked how Kaidan was looking after Liara specially after Thessia and how first he asks you to go see her, and then comments on how lucky she is etc, add to that the concern Liara showed for Kaidan after he got facesmashed, and her comment on mars of how Kaidan had come a long way since the Normandy got blown up, it seems they are close friends and hopefully more if you do not romance either, so yeah if I had to entrust Liara to someone it would be my shephard's bro Kaidan
