I personally have no problem with Femshep, but generally prefer male, and wouldn't mind seeing more male Shepard content to kinda balance things out, but I won't complain, my focus will be on Liara anyway.

What's all this "Sheploo" and such anyway? I'm very very new to these words clearly, hell very new to this forum.

Sheploo is the default male Shepard.  BroShep to me is a custom Shepard.  The model they used for the marketing is named Mark Vanderloo.  Hense, Sheploo.

I have 10 Sheps.  Five of each and Liara is a romance for one of my broSheps.  The other two are either with Ash or Tali.  I always try to be fair.

Well derp! Just derp! I should've figured thought of that. Thought the loo thing was just like a cute nickname sort of thing. I have never actually played anything but the default male shepard, I'm too perfectionistic to create a proper look so I end up hating it, just went with default because he looks more badass. Also only once in Mass Effect 2 played anything else but soldier. I'm so primitive.

I've been cruising this thread for awhile and I have to say it is one of the most friendliest threads that I've seen. Just wanted to say hello to everyone and add my love for Liara. Like Yuqi, I'm a straight female but one of my femsheps romances Liara. LOL and actually since they didn't go s/s with Ash, I redid my run with my other femshep and had her start a romance with Liara. I can't help it, it's RP and Liara is so well written that you can't help but love her. And if they would have made Cortez bi, I would so have gone after him with one of my femsheps.

Anyway, if I can get my rear in gear after finals and needing to spend time on my capstone for class, I will work on some drawings for Liara to add to the community.

Same thing. My canon Shep is Sheploo/Soldier with default bio.

mass Effect 1 actually isn't that bad once you get through the first little bit, you kinda get used to it.

I've played through 3-4 soldier playthroughs, all with default male Shepard look, and 1 vanguard playthrough with default Shepard look. I don't remember the different background choices though.

I'm definitely playing Mass Effect 3 again, I won't let the ending ruin what I still found to be a brilliant game. Besides it's not like I was depressed or anything over the ending, just found it bull****, so I guess it's not as mentally draining on me.

I have actually tried it again. Imported my infiltrator Shepard a few hours ago I think. About to meet Liara at Mars but the game leaves a weird taste. And after this I still have a soldier, adept, sentinel, vanguard and engineer left to import. BioWare really has to fix those endings if I am to go through all that and still have fun.

Naturally BioWare also had to make it so Galactic readiness drops all the time. Down from 96% to 76% now. Luckily even with the highest readiness the ending is still crap so it doesnt matter right now.

I actually realized there's small variations to the endings depending on your readiness. All depending on whether earth is destroyed, devestated etc etc.

One thing I can't ignore about the ending though is the insanely well done cinematic feeling of it. That's one thing I will never bash Bioware for, their cinematic and graphics are through the roof. Same with Bethesda.

I've replayed Mars like 5 times. Dunno bout you guys but my Shep has the dopiest puppy look when she walks up to Liara. It's pretty funny.

I don't think you can keep Shep alive without playing MP.  I just don't think there is enough war assets for the 4000 number and you have to keep Anderson alive to keep Shep alive.

I've already completed 4 runs.  I look past the ending and headcanon it.  Too bad for Ash.  Jaxx Shep didn't make it.  He didn't keep Anderson alive and EMS was in the 4000.  You need 5000 to keep Shep alive if Anderson dies.

It is just me?  Or is Liara super sexy in this shot?

That is what is bothering me the most about the ending (ignoring the plotholes). Those two things just makes Shepard's sacrifice seem like it was done in vain.

Let us save civilization and let Liara be able to have a good life after the war bioware!

I know, but much like Ladyvader I just get it over with as soon as possible regarding the ending. I play through it because of all the other things having so many various options. I haven't gotten "From Ashes" DLC yet, but I would love to play through it and bring Javik along to some places knowing how some of the conversations can turn out. I like to have just about any possible situation played out. Or well no I'm not THAT detailed, because that would've required me to play through 50-100 playthroughs of each game, with detailed recording of what I said on what character. Not that big a nerd.

As far as I know he does. I had 100% readiness from multiplayer and over 6000 on EMS and he died.

He does. I think ladyvader means that anderson was killed by TIM. If he is then you need 5k EMS and the destruction ending to keep Shepard alive. If you manage to charm TIM or use the renegade intterupt to make sure he doesnt kill anderson, then you only need 4k EMS and the red ending to survive.
