Well, parts of it blew up. The entire thing wasn't. Most likely it's still up over Earth.

After all, if it fell on Earth, well, there would be no Earth lefted to save.

Sorry, i have to disagree with your assumption. The Shep Lives 3 second cinematc shows Shepard in a heap of broken "concrete/stone" rubble, the Citadel has no concrete or stone work.

It's pretty easy to see that the materials in thise scene are broken concrete.

Nice vid!(Skiped through bits..)

I found this on tumblr. Image IPBApparently it's what happens when you choose the 'I want to be alone option.'

Liara looks like she's about to cry.:(

Doesn't really matter where Shep is. Liara is still on Gilligan's Planet eating leaves with Joker.

Speaking of asinine plot holes (like Liara standing next to me on Earth one minute, then flying away on the Normandy the next), how in the hell does a shockwave which doesn't actually do damage to anything manage to knock the Normandy out of an FTL jump?

::sigh::

Just keep denying, just keep denying...

I've watched End03_Shepard_Alive_Fem.bik over and over, its all concrete rubble, there's no indication that it is the Citadel at all.

Joker is the only person who got a happy ending. He's now forced to spend the rest of his life with EDI (whom I suggested start dating - I know it's weird but I thought: Why not!) on that forsaken planet. While Shepard and Liara are separated.

Yeah thanks BioWare. Let us romance Liara for 5 (or 3 in game) years, give us wonderful dialogue options that'd make it appear they wanted to get married and have children one day, only to drop her off on a weird planet and put Shepard on earth under a pile of rubble on Earth.

Well, Destroy and Synthesis involve doing something to synthetics. Destroy simply killing them. And Synthesis turns them into living cyborg creatures (Which makes me wonder if the Normandy is now alive...). I imagine both happening to a ship flying at FTL is bad.

Though honestly, I think the ship simply overloaded from trying to outrun it. And the part you bought simply kept the entire ship from blowing up.

The Keepers did it! All this time we thought they were bug minions of the Reapers. No, they're the Milky Way Illuminati. They made the catalyst and the reapers. They can move entire systems just by farting. We've been totally wrong this whole time.

I thought the Normandy was in the midst of a relay jump (which is B.S. too b/c it's instantaneous) and the relay exploding caused it to take damage?

So, you are saying Keeper gas is the key to reuniting Shepard and Liara?

Lazy.  Rushed.  Development.  They used generic ''rubble'' for you to interpret as anything - they were just focused on the Gasp part.  They didn't leave hints and clues like that because they didn't plan an ending that complex (stupid final truth app!) - it was just twist of the knife that Shepard could maybe live and make you feel a bit more at ease.  (which...ionno didnt for me, my crew still got screwed)

Time to scrap those plans for a gun that shoots thresher maws and draw something up for a Keeper fart-harvester.

If I was roleplaying, I'd say my Shep and Liara always had a thing for each other, but something always kept coming in between us; whether it was Ashley, my Death, or her hunt for the Shadow Broker. With war brewing and an uncertainty that we may not make it out alive, we took our chances and decided there would be no "what if's." Reality: I missed my chance to romance her in ME1 and didn't get the Shadow Broker DLC lol. She just keeps getting more and more badass though. Great character.

As you said - relay jumps are instant and the effects around the Normandy are the same as we have seen in normal FTL flights.
I too thought it was a jump the first time I saw it, but pretty sure now it has to be FTL.
Not that this would explain anything :unsure:

Nope. Bioware was that lazy with the ending they couldn't even be bothered to come up with some mass effect fields explanation.

I had my one Shepard live the last time...lot of good it did her. She's stuck in London somewhere.

She'll probably dramatically crawl out of the rubble and start yelling "Liara!"

Then she'll search all over London for her...but she won't be there :(

:mellow::(:crying:

Sounds quite familiar, actually.......
