I hope so.  Once she hears news that her daughter died again she'll have a heart attack.  Her daughter is a survivor damn it!  Never actually reveals anything about Shep's mom other than she's proud of you and working on the crucible and promoted to rear admiral.  And i recieve that from hackett!  not mom herself... bah

That kinda sucks.  She's been proud of Shepard Jr. for years....they should have something new!

And how come she gets promoted but her daughter never does?

I felt the whole Thessia mission (and aftermath with Liara) was the most intense part in all of my first PT.
No idea if I should look forward to playing that again or not.
At least the rest of my second PT was fun so far, with very heavy NOT thinking about certain things ...

Liara smiles: "For a while and then bed."
Shepard: "Bed or bed?"
Liara gives a slight giggle: "Commander!"
Shepard joins in the laughter: "Okay, bed."
Liara runs her fingers through Shepard's hair and hums an asari lullaby as Shepard drifts off to sleep: "Sleep because when you wake up you will need your strength. Both for our bed and the battlefield."   

That's how I saw it ... Bioware make a PMC65 Edition just for me!

I don't know to be honest. In my headcanon, EW was a colonist so Hannah died on Mindoir.

Liara met Hannah years prior on Illium which is where the bracelet came into play ... Here is the chapter on that meeting if you get bored and need a diversion. http://www.fanfictio...essians_Whisper

Now you see why I was pissed I couldn't get that version on my playthrough, and why I wanted to figure out a way to do it, without replaying ME1, and not romancing her.

I also heard it's a bit different if you had the confrontation scene back in ME1, and picked the other character.

By now you'll know I'm a sucker for happy endings. I seriously could not have handled such a scene. The thought that after the battle, Liara never saw her Shepard again and their daughter only heard stories about her father, never having met him, would be enough to make me cry I think.

It'd be a great bittersweet ending though, Shepard did not survive but Liara and their offspring (legacy) did, and I'd probably have 1 of my Shepards going this route, just for such a beautiful scene, but I wouldn't be able to just sit there and soak it up without a few tears.

Indeed, I would more likely than not shed a single tear if that scene played out. Bonus tears if they used Anderson's original death speech as well.

Like it but don't use it that often tbh. Doesn't really fit my Shep's character.
