I know most here have Liara as their LI. Here is a question. Let's flip the cabin scene question that Liara asks Shepard. "If this all ends tomorrow, what about us?" Shepard asks that instead of Liara, what would her response be?

Trying to get the thread on a happier note with all the sad Liara pics.

That's a tough question. I imagine her response would be something along the lines of "happily ever after."

I know this topic has been debated ad nauseum and I'm not interested in another debate about it but I'm replaying ME1 after a long hiatus and just listened to Liara explain to Shepard how Asari mate. From what Liara says Asari can mate with anyone, that physical contact may or may not take place and that through 'melding' Asari join with and explore the racial and genetic memories and pass them on to their daughters. Now perhaps I'm reading too much into this but what I am understanding from Liara's statement is that Asari may be capable of conceiving a child in a traditional sense and also in a non-traditional sense through melding. I'm thinking that melding might incorperate a biotic element enabling an Asari to physically manipulate their own gene structure to select and mimic their partner's genetic traits which would be physically passed on to their child. Perhaps just as some Asari choose not to develop biotic potential, some Asari may choose not to explore to any great degree the genetic memories or essence of their partner and simply randomize, like a quickie'. This I think would account for comments made by the Erinya in ME2 which seem to contrast what Liara says in ME1. Anyway I'd like to think that Liara will give birth to little blue Shepards.
