Even if they will change the ending, after seeing it, I'm done with Bioware/EA. First Deception, then that damn day-one DLC (and I'm the CE owner), and now they completely destroyed our favorite universe with the ending. This is too much.
You're not alone there. But this is the Liara thread. I didn't see any offerings to Liara in your post.

Supposedly there'll be news by next month, maybe we'll see by then why they want us to keep our saves.
Maybe a DLC to further create our legacy by being the Alliance soldier who suddenly grew such a massive brain to rebuild the mass relays in every galaxy!
"Primary relays can propel a ship thousands of light years but only link to one other relay, its "partner". Secondary relays can link to any other relay over shorter distances, only a few hundred light years."
So if they'd fix the relay in Sol system, there's no way to know where would it launch the ships, or would it work at all without the partner relay.

Hey guys! I'm kinda new to the Liara fan club, but I really liked how they handled her romance in ME3! So I made a small music video about Liara and Shepard's relationship during the Reaper War and figured I'd share it here. Hope you enjoy! It uses music from Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain".
Yeah, someone linked that yesterday. I did not really think much of it at the start, but from 2:55 - "Well, it felt something died 'cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time..." when they kiss, it was too damn touching..
Thanks a lot for the tears!

Hmm, Zaeed's LM planet looks similar to the "mystery" planet of ME3 ending.
Another candidate for the mystery planet could be 2175 Aeia, it was visited in Jacobs loyality mission in ME2. Too bad the plants reduce the braincells or what was it, so they better have lots of food with them, or eat all of them pyjaks!

I was shocked at the ending, but never to the point of craziness. Synthisis made the least sense to me, and I didn't really think it was the 'Paragon Choice'. The whole game is basically foreshadowing Shepard's death..
And epic costume is epic. I belive the program is DAZ3D

So, if you feel "forced", maybe that's because you're beginning to like Liara more than your current LI? But that's just my view.

Maybe this has been discussed before, if so, apologies. Anyway, is it just me of does having Liara as a LI give the game a slightly different dynamic?
I can't even imagine the game without Liara as Shepard's LI, she's there all the time and I take her on every mission. It gives such a different context to almost every single event in the game and she legitimately comes across as the love of Commander Shepard's life. Liara is easily the most important character next to Shepard so it seems natural for the two of them to be together the whole time.
Im going to have to agree with this. Ive only played maybe 20 minutes of a game with Liara not as a LI (it felt really weird, and really wrong - so my opinion might be bias) but from what I could tell trying to distance myself from our blue asari wonder... is ... that not romancing Liara is impossible for me. Bah im no help here
Plot Twist! We were so wrong... Liara was harbinger's tool to trick Shepard this entire time. Crucible was a trap, set up by the two of 'em... oh god no! say it isnt so! ... now wouldn't that just gut you. *frowns* ****. bioware don't read this - no ideas for you >
*snip*
What Liara is thinking about my previous comment.
I never thought it possible but... that is possibly WORSE than the ending we got now:blink:
BigBad wrote...
I think if Liara were ever indoctrinated, she'd pull a Benezia and lock part of herself away to come out and help Shepard at the last moment. She's probably the closest to being Shepard's equal out of all his crew.
If Liara were ever indoctrinated, my Shepard might pull a Saren/Fai Dan/ Illusive Man after the Reapers are defeated. Or just set himself up for a heroic sacrifice at the final battle:?

I keep getting annoyed at people saying they feel "forced" into a romance with Liara. Basicly they're saying that they're angry because Liara cares about Shepard, no matter who he's with, and she's simply a very loving person. That's a good thing. If Tali were to show my Shepard she likes him, even though I haven't romanced her, I'd be fine with that. That would never change how I feel about Liara, never. You can't tell someone how they are "supposed" to feel.
So, if you feel "forced", maybe that's because you're beginning to like Liara more than your current LI? But that's just my view.
Again, I support the dude who's on fire
Nobody's forced on a anyone - that's not how Mass Effect works

Bioware could have made it easier on themselves by killing Liara, then Shepard wouldn't have any problems joining her in the afterlife, or whatever.
But I'd best not give them ideas. I still want my happy ending.

If they did that then I certainly won't get the ending fix DLC because it's much easier and cheaper for me to pretend the ending didn't happen (diverge from the plot half-way through the Cerberus HQ mission - have the Catalyst be some kind of gizmo, but still require the Citadel because it's the key to the Mass Relay network and thus required to wipe out Reapers galaxy wide rather than just locally, have Shep use the beam to open the Citadel and get back back to London in time for tea and medals*)
* You could even incorporate player choices - e.g. have the galaxy's brightest scientists and engineers figure out the catalyst without Vendetta if Shep saved the Council in ME1 (more Crucible support from the start) or brokered peace between the geth and the quarians, or saved the Rachni in ME3, allowing them to move to Earth sooner, allowing them to save the Citadel.
In London, you could allow Shep to break through to the beam if and only he has enough ground assets - otherwise Sword runs out of time and has to fire the Crucible to wipe out local Reaper forces to avoid losing the Crucible entirely, delaying the end of the war by several weeks whilst engineers prepare the Crucible to be fired again, etc.
Basically, the possibilities are endless if you are willing to cut the Guardian/godchild scene.
Sorry, went a bit OT there (and hey, a three paragraph footnote is probably a personal record too) . Here's T'Soni Jr. to make up for it, unless you're a private military contractor in which case I apologize.

That wasn't exactly what I was refering to. I'm liking the whole thing about the way the Geth operates and the way they're basically software and with their consensus and everything. Fascinating stuff.
And certainly a whole lot more interesting than some of the stuff I've had to read for my education. Trust me, you don't want to read some of the Cisco books, it's quite a snooze fest.

Technically he is a hacker after all, so it's not like they're wrong.

Lol just had a talk with Legion, there's one of the investigate things you can ask him about where he explains that they uploaded a story on the extranet about a range of stars forming the face of a Salarian Goddess, ending with some Salarian cult wanting to buy rights to the stars, only to find they didn't exist. Basically even in Mass Effect, trolls exist.
But it was a hilarious troll all the same.
A bit mean to play a trick on the Salarians, but they deserved it.
