Speaking of the LotSB bug thingy,

Is/was the only difference Liara saying months instead of years?

I believe so. I tried using Gibbed's ME3 editor and it still didn't activate. :pinched:

There are other differences too. If you haven't done LotSB, she tells you how she beated the SB but came to late for Feron, so Feron is dead if you haven't done it (is he anywhere in me3 anyway?).

@Ferbian
Its not a bug, I don't really know either, but its a story in the comics or somewhere else, so Udina became councelor before me3.

I think so.

Tried to find info about it in the posts of her writer here in the thread. But there's nothing about what she should have said exactely when the trigger wasn't broken.

Also: Evening everyone! (or whatever time of day you fancy :D)

Anybody know why Udina is on the Mass Effect 3 council, even if I choose Anderson to be the councilor in Mass Effect 1?

IIRC he mentioned something about stepping down at the start of ME3.

Mmh..I can't seem the find the audio for it. All I find is
"I'll always remember that tour of the normandy, but lets be honest Shepard, it's been more than a half a year"

Ah, glad I checked in here to find out what was up.

I had the same bug issue in the game with Liara seeming to not remember that we got back together during LotSB. When she said "it's been years since we were together" or whatever it was, my reaction was basically "wat".

Do we know if it's something that's going to be fixed?

Don't hold your breath, this is not the type of bug Bioware has ever been compelled to fix after a game was published.

I must've missed that part. Damn, Udina is such an annoying character.

Really? Interesting. I was assuming Neeh was asking as if LotSB was completed. Good to know what happens if one doesn't play the DLC. I just received an email or two from Feron. He doesn't make an appearance. When asked, Liara mentions how she and Feron escape from Cerberus during their attack at Hagalaz during Shepard's detention, how the ship was destroyed from that battle and how he is working as an agent since the Reapers have reduced their numbers.

If it doesn't get fixed, I'm going to have to just treat the line as "Well, we haven't been together in years, besides the one night."

I think Anderson was the canon councilor in one of the books, wasn't he?

Maybe he got flak for sharing those information about Cerberus with the turians and was urged to step down?

Additionally, they needed a lacky to be an inside traitor on the Citadel, Anderson wasn't capable of treason.

Anderson quit his job as Councilor after the events in Retribution. It's in the codex.

However, I think it's a ****ty move to not even explain this ingame to the player. Udina is just the Councilor, and Shepard never questions it, or brings it up that he never wanted him in that position. Or question how he got the position in the first place.

Good to know, maybe I should actually read the codex for once

And yes, there are actually quite a few points of that sort that bug me a bit.
Like Vega at the beginning of the game. He and Shep obviously know each other but the player has no idea who he is nor is it ever explained.

Is it? She sounds so...depressed though. Like "It's been more than half a year..there's no us anymore" kinda feeling. The years bit sounds alot more, "I still want you Do you?" ish.

That said I'm not sure how it's all played out.

You need to read one of the comics for that - at least you can talk to Liara about the events of Redemption (if you remember to pick investigate in a crucial conversation or buy DLC)... I sense a pattern here

Edit to add: Conviction
Edit 2: Hang on... I thought 103rd Marines blows up the Arrival relay if you don't get Arrival?

.... i dont get this.  Shep wouldve loved a visit!  Its not like she could get out of prison and come see liara.  But no.  Reapers first, ignore relationship, then question if its Shepard that abandoned the relationship?

I see your point. If anything the tone should be switched for the two dialogues.

I suppose at this point your guess is as good as mine. I can't imagine it being significantly different though because after her comment, regardless of which one, she still waits for your yes or no answer then the conversation moves on. Purely speculation though. I have no idea but I'm almost certain that is the audio clip.

Not a bug, it's meant to be like that. So your choice in ME1 didn't matter :/

Just some quick edits on two pictures. Went for a kinda "old and used" look, can't describe it that good. :-)

It's all about the drama it creates, not about what would have logically transpired!

Edit: Oh, top post..have a Liara!

These are going in a frame to be displayed on Sheps nightstand. Doesn't matter if Liara is sleeping on the other side of the bed=]
