I'm glad that's the last thought in Shepard's mind before death.
yea...
I thought he was dead too, then he woke up in the middle of some concrete rubble
Thanks Bioware thanks a lot for ending 150+ hours of storytelling like that <_<

I think he is smarter than picking a fight with Commander Shepard. I also don't think Liara is lying, she cares way too much for Shepard.Obcasus Nex wrote...
By the way what was the deal with feron??? I don't like how liara was after him so much and I didn't really buy that "ooo i told him I was taken" line. He tried it eh??? Gonna have to throw that stupid frog creature out the air lock!

Eh some are better than others. Hard to judge an entire populace on the actions of a few. Ive met some decent tali fans, also some creepy ones, also some dumbasses.

Think this kind of discussion is true for every character. Some people are very entrenched in their love of one or another, and unwilling to admit that both are great.
As for her being a ****....naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. She had two years to bump uglies with Feron, or anyone else for that matter, and chose not to. Beyond that, she had even more time after Shepard was placed under house arrest.
It's actually quite interesting that she, of all the characters in the series, shows perhaps the least amount of interest in anyone besides Shepard. Almost like she's being pushed by the storytellers as the default love interest or something....
Good thing they made her such a compelling choice!
DEM EYES, dey get me erry time.

he's Liara's friend. Ill respect that. I didn't see anyone else offering to help her get shep's body back...so Ill give him a little leeway there - and i really dont see liara going for him if she's in a relationship with Shepard. As deventh all ready stated - she cares way too much for Shepard and has no interest in ''playing games''

He sends you a message saying something like: "I'm glad that you're still with Liara." I don't hate the dude, really. He helped Liara save you and you returned the favor nothing more.Obcasus Nex wrote...

Oh no, I'm pretty sure I had the "talk" with Liara about Feron. Rachel has nothing to fear from the boy, though his flirtatious efforts may have earned him a spacing were Rachel still alive at that point.

First ... I am not clinically insane because of the "no blue babies" stand. *shakes fist*
I have some scientific papers that may say otherwise..... If Liara came up to EW one day and said... "Honey.. I was thinking..."
What would she say, huh? HUH?

Yeah during the dark days of ME2 (before LotSB) I kept thinking "woha who the hell is this guy that made her drop everything to find him?" in the comic he does save her life but they have little more interaction beyond that so...it was weird, but LotSB fixed all of that I think, I specially like how Feron is clearly uncomfortable being around Shepard, though not in a jealous way but more in a "I dont want to get spaced" way

^This, plus reading the Redemption comic really helps to understand the whole thing. Feron sacrificed himself so that Liara could save Shepard's body. And if you read the comic you pretty much realise there was absolutely nothing between those two. The only physical contact they had was Liara kicking Feron's ass with her biotics

yeah don't hate the guy, but he deffoes fancies her!! always gotta be suspicious of the "just friend" blokey in the background! They have an awful habit of being a shoulder to cry on if you and the missus have an argument about something (or end up dead again, in this instance

Feron's too timid to try anything.
Now Javik......there's a dangerous guy to have around. Unrepentent imperialist, totally fearless, and strangely interested in Liara. He might pretend like he hates her, but he ain't foolin nobody. Last Prothean or no, he gets a bullet if he tries. Then a knife. Then a few more bullets. Then a biotic b**** slap. That's wassup.

Liara says to Shepard that "[she and Feron] are just friends. I believe you made it clear that I was, as you humans say, taken." so you're inventing the romance subtext there.I don't like how liara was after him so much and I didn't really buy that "ooo i told him I was taken" line.
As for the history, Feron helped Liara recover Shepard's body form Shadow Broker forces working for the Collectors. At the end, Feron sacrificed himself, leading to his capture and allowing Liara to escape with Shep's body (to be handed over to Cerberus for mad science)

No no, Liara called Kaidan a woman after I chose her in the confrontation. It was... weird. Shep did as well when I responded.
Edit: Top again, really?
Uhh... some biotic awesomeness then!

There is no such thing as mad science. I would know.
But the lad made up for it at the end, and that's all that matters. Liara felt responsible for him, perhaps like an older sister would feel responsible for a foolish younger sibling. And I'd do anything for Liara, so... Shadow Broker's Lair? Car chase through Illium? Mad assault on a floating fortress on a stormy planet? Let's go, babe.
And I don't think I'm inventing any romance subtext when Liara says quite clearly to Shepard that she's taken, as us humans say. She means it in the same way that some people may wear a wedding ring, I figure. Or that may just be me, old optimistic me.
