You know, some of you guys are pretty eager to execute all the competition Like "Feron/Javik tries something I'll kill him!!!!!" I understand that you're mostly joking but still, is that how you handle your real life relationships too, Someone thinks your girl is hot so you beat the living sh!t out of him? You can't own the other person. Sure I would be mad if Liara cheated on my Shepard, but it's her choice, there's no reason to kill that "other guy". Not saying I would best friends with the guy though.... :innocent:

And yes, once more I know (or hope at least) that your joking with these talks .

And I don't think I'm inventing any romance subtext when Liara says quite clearly to Shepard that she's taken, as us humans say.

Between Liara and Feron I meant, because you suggested that she had to tell Feron that she was "taken".

No no, Liara called Kaidan a woman after I chose her in the confrontation. It was... weird. Shep did as well when I responded.

Hahaha, we rather project ourselves on these fictional romances, no?

Honestly though, I wouldn't trust myself in a real relationship... so... the question is rather moot. Beating on someone is always a last resort though, whoever it is.

If my girl cheated on me with someone else, which did happen to me. I didn't kill nobody, I didn't assault nobody. I just drank myself into a stupor and emerged after a couple of weeks. Having good friends helps. I'm sure Garrus would be invaluable in this instance. Though within an ME context, I don't see Shepard cheating on Liara, or the other way around, so there's no drama. Though she can get jealous, like anyone else. Getting jealous ain't no crime now, is it?

Ah, I think I was mentioning your post in general as your response was to somoene else. I didn't invent any romantic subtext between Liara and Feron in my LOTSB playthrough. I was upfront with her since she was so cold with me during ME 2, in my headcanon that is. The initial kiss notwithstanding.

Haha i suppose you are right  i get to be a tad more renegade with my shep than I do in real life so I guess im just blowing off steam!

wouldn't trust the bugger though, the moment I found out he made a pass in the past. Some lads exploit their position as "oooo we're just friends" and its worse if they have a history (past entaglement or hell he saved her blooming life!!!).

You're right. But i still want to kill them  makes me childish, i know. It's a game so why not ?

Yeah, I'm very much sure. It was confusing to say the least, especially since Shepard responded as if he was a woman too. Seems like the kind of bug that would be well known...

Most people couldn't kill anyone without giving up the rest of their life on a prison sentence.

But Shepard's a Spectre. And Spectres are, *ahem*, 'above the law'. Could probably carry a dead body through the Presidium and no one would dare say anything. No need to fill up the backyard with bodies, if you catch my drift.

I kid, I kid. I didn't kill my girlfriend of five or so odd years when she cheated on me, nor did I kill the douchebag she cheated on me with. I miiiiiiiight have considered it, but I took the high road.

Both Feron and Javik show no interest in Liara, nor does any other NPC (I don't understand that, she is gorgeous). But there are some NPCs who are interested in Shepard even if he/she is not flirting with them, like for example Samantha, Cortez or Kaidan in Mass Effect 3.

Since I played a FemShep and Samantha kept flirting with her although she was just being nice, I would've loved to see Liara having a friendly talk with her. Not necessarily a cat fight, but a "Shepard is mine, are we clear?" talk.

I have to admit that the first time I played LotSB I was little concerned too, and was like "WTF is this, something going on between you two?? and who is this guy Liara wants to rescue so bad anyway??" (keep in mind I haven't read the comic in this point) But after the SB was killed and Liara said she made it clear that she was taken,  I was, okay, relieving to hear, and then the cabin scene and YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH! No more concerns.

Now I think Feron is okay, I have nothing against the guy.

Sam was kinda creepy stalker girl in some parts. I just wanted to tell her, "Sam, I'm with Liara...". Everything else was gravy. I mean, she could use my shower as much as she wanted, for all her contributions. Except for when I'm using it with Liara... *ahem*

I'm a Tali fan and a Liara fan and I'm quite civil. I love every character pretty much Though I am bias towards Garrus, Liara, Tali, Wrex, Mordin, and Legion 

So don't worry not all of us are like that! :innocent:

As much as Tali has some good lines throughout the games, I don't see her as either attractive or interesting. The mask makes the conversations kinda dull and her accent bothers me. Her loyalty mission in ME2 didn't really affect me much. I still respect her as a squad member though. Same thing with Ash (most respectable female soldier in the series, imo).
Nobody affects me like Liara has.
