So I finally managed to convince my friend to play ME1, and he likes Liara as a character alot and romanced her. Better still, he has already ordered ME2 so he can play it.

You would have to upload it somewhere like tinypic.com then post it here with bbcode. [img*]url goes here[*/img] The same is true if you had a "sig" / "userbar" etc. If only BSN's height was higher then I could use the one I made.

Well, admittedly not nearly as weird as "Oh Commander, feed me like this and I may follow you home"..

But she seemed to play the insecure card a bit to get Rachel's sympathy a bit more. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Too bad Liara played the card earlier. Or... Uhh... Just as well? I'm confused..

I never interpreted Sam as flirting.  When do you think she did?

She didn't do it openly, but there were definitely ambiguous lines I interpreted as subtle flirting. It's more between the lines, you have to focus on how she says it. And the chess/shower scene makes it clear that she wanted Shepard to see her as a potential love interest, with absolutely no regard to whether Shepard was already involved with someone or not.

But maybe it's just me over-analyzing the whole thing.

Didn't you catch her reaction when Shep says, "Well good luck with her!", that moment of hesitation, like a small bubble being burst?

Just as well I suppose, I mean, Traynor is cute and all, but.... Loyalty does mean something in these parts.. even if it isn't apparent in the forced ending.

Lots of different reports on how to get her, but so far as I know you just need to do the Conrad quest in Illium. You may get some extra dialogue if you played LOTSB (I cannot confirm this, as I loaded LOTSB saves) but then you just need to talk to Liara on the Citadel, then Barla Von, and poof, daddy appears. Apparently.

Ok, I am not intending to poke a hornet nest with a stick, but I have to say something.

I took a decent break from the forums and this thread for a few reasons. I finally start paying attention and posting again and all I have seen since I came back is femShep vs manShep stupidity.
To be honest, nobody should be whining about the lack of manShep pics or lack of femShep pics, this is the Liara thread, not Shepard thread, so I (and probably a few others) would love for the competition that some are making it out to be, to stop. And please cease the retaliatory maleShep pics every time someone posts a femShep pic, it's rather childish as well as community splitting.

That would lead to uncomfortable implications and tension on board the vessel that would not be tolerated. I suppose Liara was very wise to not say anything about it. I mean, she knows about it right after, anyway. Liara not mentioning it rather shows that she's very very capable of taking the high road, though I despise the term.

Because I find this intolerably cute.

I'd like to think we kinda buried that ghost pages back. People are free to post any Shep and Liara they like. A little healthy competition never hurt anyone, however.

The moment this turns into a gender race, we all lose. Something to keep in mind.
