Liara specifically states 'for the purposes of reproduction'. I think there's still a lot of mind melding going on between Asari everywhere tbh.

I agree with Rob here, those were Liara's words. And as you might recall, the asari at Huerta Memorial talked about wanting a personal relationship with another of her fellow asari huntresses in a very matter of fact way.

The way I see it, out in the galaxy Shepard has to take charge all the time. She has to be a commander, a leader, a diplomat and a soldier. She has to rally allies, to inspire people to join her cause, to persuade people that the threats are real and to take the leading role in the battle against the Reapers.

So don't you think it'd be a relief for her to be able to let go of all that and be the submissive one "in the bedroom"? Letting Liara take charge for a change?

So ummm a long time Ash fan here, but I have to say I'm currently replaying ME1 again just to romance Liara (still hard to turn down Ash though!) because of that ending scene (the black and white memory part) from ME3 where she looks up with a sort of 'startled' look and then smiles sweetly when she sees its Shepard. Which to me encapsulates what her character was all about. Awesome game!
