I was impressed by her assertivness, and thought the seeming role reversal was quite interesting.
Assertive Liara is incredibly attractive.
Just saying.
Like when she ruthlessly executed those cerberus soldiers that where hounding her on mars, I don't know why but I was just like:wub:
One of my favourite scenes in the game, she shows no mercy for cerberus scum

She reminds me of how Princess Leia became all tough with the Star Wars trilogy, but still a good person at heart <3

I still miss that clumsy cute geek from me1 haha. It's been an amusing ride watching how she has grown into an amazingly tough strong willed asari throughout the story.
I love what she has become. Liara BATGIRL

Why is that such a surprise? And is there anything NOT to love about it? I certainly can't think of a downside.

I'm going to start a new game right through myself soon. Planning on playing LotSB after I finish the suicide mission because canonically thats when its designed for.
Plus it means I can save the best bit for the very end. <3

Never actually played it before finishing but as I understand it theres some dialogue changes and so on. I read an article on it at the time which stated that although you can play it whenever it was designed with people playing it after the suicide mission in mind.

really it reminded me alot of the original trek i never watched smallville *checks youtube for smallville intro vid* i was talking about the actual title though i now know that the character intros were smallville. If i'm still wrong could you link me to a vid because the one i found had the "Smallville" title in a more curved presentation. Either way still a great vid:D
Well the Mass Effect title I made is the "Smallville" title font I just didn't have it curved like the actual show has it. The show is about Superman's origin and preparing him to become the superhero that we all know and love. Smallville is the town he was raise and Metropolis where he becomes a reporter at the Daily Planet and be the protector of Metropolis and the world. I love Smallville, it's a good show, it lasted 10 years but I wish they would done some things different and stuck a little closer to the comics, mythos. Overall I love the show what it is.
Smallville's actual opening credits
Here is the rest my Fan Made Mass Effect TV Intros (all have Liara featured):
Mass Effect Opening TV Credits Intro (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Style)
Mass Effect Opening TV Credits Intro (Star Trek Enterprise Style)
Mass Effect Opening TV Credits Intro (Star Trek The Next Generation Style)
Mass Effect Opening TV Credits Intro (classic Star Trek Style)

Never played LotSB before the Suicide Mission for that very reason. Even if the Xth playthrough of ME2 gets a bit boring and tedious, there's allways that blue light at the end of the tunnel driving me forward ...The Lightspeaker wrote...

Oh wow heh.. I just felt like sharing that, I didn't think anyone cared lmao.
It is a little different. For example, when she asks how Shep's doing, he'll respond with an answer about the Collectors, or the Reapers. Personally, I like the Collector talk more, because that's the entire plot of ME2. The Reapers themselves are too broad as an enemy to be relevant during the story.
Yes, the Reapers are the main point of the series, but Mass Effect 1 and 2 don't focus on them as the main antagonist.
Just my opinion though of course. I was just happy to see my Shepard with Liara. That kiss after the Shadow Broker was killed was probably my favorite scene. I choked up a bit when she started tearing up, and from that point on I was disappointed that I wouldn't see her again untill ME3, which I'll be starting tomorrow.

Not much difference between the two except for some minor dialogue changes. If you do it before the suicide mission it allows you to get pretty much all the weapons upgrades from one of the consoles in the SB's ship. I always do it before and just don't talk to Liara until after the suicide mission. Best of both worlds. lol.

Ok thanks i see it now and although i didn't watch the show *digs through box of childhood memories to find comics* I did remember that supe's hailed from there, I am a geek you know my friends and probably half this thread would kill me if i didn't know that. I watched all the star trek ones to, very nice job (sorry i'm not gonna watch the power rangers one). Although Kaiden looked a bit unhappy with his 1 sec of screen time in the original trek one, it's ok i never saved him anyways

It's almost that but not exactly. When she ask how shep's doing, if done before Suicide Mission they'll talk about how Ash/Kaidan acted in Horizon, and if done after Suicide Mission they'll talk about the collectors base.
Also in the part when they both look at the sky, (that part the camera is on the roof of the cabin, just after grabbing hands and making the promise of always returning) if done before Suicide Mission liara will say "when you past over the Omega-4 Relay" (or something like that) and if done after Suicide Mission she'll say "When the reapers finally arrive you'll dive into the fray".
As you see minor changes, like doing arrival post/pre Suicide MIssion, in which at the end you talk with collector general (before) or Harbinger itself (post)
I know it since I always play LotSB before SM and arrival post it.

I agree I did it before the suicide mission (but saved it for the very last mission before the Reaper IFF) and then watched a video of the conversation if you do it after and it feels more natural to do it before, otherwise her dialogue about needing to know you are always coming back seems a bit forced as she has no way of knowing when or if the reapers are coming
One thing is for sure though gameplay wise I would much rather do LotSB as the last mission rather than Arrival, arrival sucks since you are alone and get no dialogue with anyone exept Hackett
