Can we just agree that if you want Liara to be a maiden (no babies) or a matron (ready-bake-oven) each player can just decide. Debating over it is almost kind of weird since none of us have met an asari (or have we?) and Bioware seems pretty sketchy with their information. So maiden or matron ... each players decision? Yes?

*sees baby pictures* .... ech!

After Thessia I could see where Shepard would comfort Liara later but initially she was pissed at herself for failing. Shepard knows that there really is no room for failure so she took that moment hard. Curses on that cereal eating s***head!

I saw the video of Shepard killing both Wrex & Mordin ... those Shepards should be shot dangit! Although Wrex's line about not having Ashley there to do his dirty work or the addition of her being killed on Virmire was priceless. Shepard looked like a coward in that scene. No Liara for that Shepard!

Now off to work!

I had no qualms or ill feelings after decieving the krogan with a fake cure with wreav in charge - that one is definately going to bite shep/galaxy in the ass (eve was also dead...sigh).

Yeah...it's probably a terrible idea with him in charge.

You have to take her to Sur'kesh and let her talk to NotKirrahe, that was interesting....

Apologies for my late reply, I was having my dinner.

Wrex turns up on the Citadel after asari councilor gives Shep the mission to go to Thessia. Wrex says that he had another source in STG and he won't believe Shep if she tries to use the red convince option. Shepard has to kill Wrex in the end which is how Garrus figures out Shep sabotaged the cure. If Garrus connected the dots I'm sure Liara would.

Shepard goes off on her own to sort out the cure so Liara doesn't see her shoot Mordin. I would have liked the option the confess to Liara though, especially after Shep has her freaky dream where she hears voices of Kaidan, Eve and Mordin. Would have been the perfect chance to say she felt guilty about killing Mordin.

Another thing I want discussed is the fact that Shepard is going to die, and how Liara's going to deal with that. Liara wanted Shepard back, and wants a promise that he's always coming back. But the fact of the matter is, one day, Shepard is going to die. And she's going to have to deal with that for roughly under a thousand years. Eventually, she's going to have to move on, and then move on again.

I think part of Liara not letting go after Shepard dies for a few reasons.
A)She is still young for an asari and watched her love get spaced.
B)The relastionship with Shepard was still young.  Few months old.
C)Liara knows the Reapers are coming, Shepard is the only one that can stop that.

Even is Shepard isn't with Liara, I think, she loves Shepard even though they are friends and she knew Shepard was the only one that could stop the Reapers.  Which sorta explains why she couldn't let go.  Or my view anyway.

With that, I think if Liara/Shepard both survive the events of ME3, they will be together for years and have kids together.  Might not be right away, but have kids just the same.  Liara knows humans are a short lived species, so when Shepard does finally depart the galaxy for good, she will handle it better than when Shepard got spaced.

Sorry if this has been covered, but I'm new to the forum and will take me a while to read through nearly 1K pages. 

I love your Hard Choices Fanfic, but was it ever revealed who the human informant for Cerbrus was in the Alliance?

Mordin dies anyway if you play Paragon Shep, right? My Mordin sacrafice himself to spread the cure. Is there a scenario where he doesn't die?

Yes. If both Eve and Wrex is dead, renegade Shepard can convince him that sabotaging the cure is the right choice. Mordin will then fake his own death and secretly help build the crucible.

I read that if Wrex was killed in Virmire and Wreave is in charge then Mordin can be convinced the Krogan aren't ready for a cure and he lives. If Wrex is alive you have to shoot Mordin so you can sabotage the cure.

Just thought I'd say hello. Longtime lurker, paragade FemShep and Liara aficionado from New Zealand. I thoroughly enjoy all the pics that talented people create (well, not really the Sheploo ones but that doesn't detract from the talent!) I can't really draw but I write decent fanfiction occassionally.
Looking forward to adding my two cents to the discussion from time to time.
