Because I think it would've been nice if they kept Liara's romance exclusive to returning players. That's what they did in LotSB, and I felt that set a precedent. Then they go and reverse that decision by opening up her romance to new players in ME3. It's not a big deal, but... it's not like us loyal players got much in the form of exclusives. Romances with ME1 characters would've been a big one.

But it's a different type of romance.  One in which friendship turned into something more.  New Liaramancers miss out on a lot of the fluff leading up to Cronos, like the peck on the nose, the tenderness on Mars...  And when Shepard expresses love for Liara, there's even a slight pause, almost like hesitation, before Liara responds in kind.

Not that I'm ever going to see it, but it doesn't bother me that it's an option.  It definitely bothers me less than the treatment most of the ME2 romances got in ME3...

Aww, well I thought it was pretty sweet that we went straight to the lovey dovey on Mars, and it carries on throughout, kinda.

But anyway, I got more than plenty of Liara, so I won't really complain, unless it's to say there should be more Liara!

I'm going to have to save Kaidan next time I play ME1 just so I can see lots of renegade Liara.

On the dancing, at least Liara didn't take the ****** out of Shepard's dancing like pretty much every other character did.

You're way too generous. The extent of my fanfic stuff in here thus far is that short post and my earlier example of how I'd do a personal Shepard log.

With all this flattery I think I'm genuinely going to have to sit down and write at least a short scene for you guys.

I've got half an idea already but I'll need to review some bits of Mass Effect to be sure it fits.

You're right, new players do miss a lot.  The stuff on Mars was great, the Aethyta dialogue, and the flatterer scene... wonderful stuff.  Of course, Aethyta assumes everyone slept with Liara, so I guess that doesn't count.

Yeah shes really pissed at Javik, and i think he would make a very sticky smear on the bulkhead, but Liara has a bit more class than that.

Haha, its cool. Its just going to be a little awkward and take a day or so to do anything. I was planning on starting a new game from the very beginning of ME1 to play out the entire Liara romance (with Kaiden surviving this time around) without the big breaks between games. And I was going to use that to build up a file save bank so I could go review any bit of the game I wanted for fanfiction notes.

The bit I want is, fortunately, pretty early on. So I can get there quite quickly and combined with youtube it should be ok. But its kinda late now and I want to draft out a brief plan so it'll probably take a few days. And even then I got my daily blogs to do.

And I guess I'll have to create a fanfiction.net account or something so I can post it somewhere.

Yes. If both Eve and Wrex is dead, renegade Shepard can convince him that sabotaging the cure is the right choice. Mordin will then fake his own death and secretly help build the crucible.

So you have to play Renegade to save both Mordin and Tali? Wow.

As far as I know she's gone after the attack.  No word on where she went, but she's not on the Citadel anymore (that we can see).

I don't think anyone would be expecting it today, or tomorrow, or any time really soon. In your own time, and show us when you're ready? I await the tales of Shepard's adventures with eager anticipation.

Ugh, don't remind me. I'm spending literally all my work time lately trying to work out whats been going wrong with my oxidative stress experiments and planning some new work to get more results (time fast ticking away until I've got to write another report for my sponsor charity). So I'm pretty far behind on my reading.<_<

Position her head crests so that the are all standing up, converting her from blueberry to blue starfish. I mean they were semi flexible right?
