Why...  Why can't you say something happy  I would like to think that it's not  "Goodbye, Liara" and more like "I will see you soon, love"

"End03_Shepard_Alive_Male"

Yes but at the same time it's cheating, and meta. We should never rely on external sources to tell us what is happening in-game. Like Mac Walters saying everyone on the Citadel is dead, that ain't fair. It isn't said in the game, and we're never told what happens to those people.

Coming off this tangent and back to the Liara angle, Liara leaving her love and leader in the middle of the biggest fight? LIES!

Yeah well that was posted in the IT thread as well i think.. But though, this scene/s is/are one of the most touching i've ever seen and probably will see.. ("scene/s" because part of it is before the big fight starts, just to make sure i'm not sounding like an idiot )

Well, it's goodbye because they stranded the Normandy crew on Gilligan's Planet.  And in the one ending where Shepard is still breathing, the Mass Relays are destroyed, so effectively the entire Mass Effect universe as we know it has been sundered.

Which is why I simply prefer to reject the ending altogether.  I can do better.

Sure if that's what you want to believe really happened. I mean, yeah it makes sense.. Joker being a coward who left just like that while everyone is dying at Earth or how our crewmates abandoned us in the middle of the fight and how Shepard was the ultimate villain in the end when she destroyed the Mass Relays. It all makes sense when you look at the ending!

I still go with the blue ending. My Shepard assumes direct control of EDI's body.
Liara always knew, that the only true ending, should be the blue one.

I still have to think about the whole Benezia and Prothean beacon thing. Liara tells Shepard, that there are a lot of encrypted files from Benezia, she hasn't opened yet. What other secrets did the asari hide. hm...

So, I've just found out something. ME3 imports relationships from before, Liara in my case. Aaaaand... Regardles of Shep and Liara being very flirty in the first part of the game (there is a difference between Liara as a friend and Liara as an imported LI), after the coup, it seems nobody notices that. Including Liara. Like the relationships have been completely deleted from everybody's minds. I mean, at least some acknowlegment from NPCs ("Wait, what's with you and INSERT_YOUR_LI'S_NAME_HERE?"). No, nothing.
Is is a medium oversight in writing (especially if you want to pursue someone specific and go for them, then it doesn't matter, since all of them friendzone you after you lock a LI), but still. Some recognition (even withut any consequences wouldn't have been hard to implement.
Not sure if this is the right place, but since Liara is the one in this particular save, I've put it here... M.
