Since we've briefly discussed melding...what do you guys think about, uhm, exploratory melding? Like do you think it's be possible for one to manifest an image of themselves in their own or their asari partner's memory and 'go for a tour' so to speak? Does anybody know if there are any consequences inviting Traynor to your room for chess after you've committed to Liara in the Presidium ? I really don't want to screw up this relationship. It's the most precious thing I've ever experienced in a game.

What do you think the relationship between Liara and Benezia was like? Or on a grander scale, how do you think Liara - daughter of Benezia, pureblood, maiden who studies protheans - is viewed by her people?

I would appreciate you not belittling others by claiming your subjective interpretation of things as fact. With respect, but most couples tend to eventually want kids so...

Besides, they really are cute (which, to be fair, can be said about all babies)

It's only an issue if you A) Allow her to use your shower, and Join her in said shower.  Although if you've already confirmed your romance with Liara on the Presidium you may be locked out of Traynor (and everyone else) as an option.

I didn't find it depressing personally, maybe at the start but not at the end. I think its something about that music. Its an absolutely amazing piece and it starts out really sad but it builds up towards the end in a way which doesn't leave me thinking "oh god so sad" but leaves me thinking "yeah, screw that; screw the Reapers and screw fate, Shepard is alive and by god she's going to keep that promise".

I tried pouring it into my computer's disk drive to get it to you but I don't think it worked.


Also I swear to the goddess you people, the way everyone is posting depressing stuff is making me more and more determined to get some positive fanfic out ASAP but even I can't work that fast!

If you invite Traynor up after committing, the shower isn't even an option. They just go right into chess. You're good.

Well, I imagine there are some places that a fine lady like Liara wouldn't get freaky in. Like, a storage room in a daycare center or...a dumpster? I don't know, that's why I suggested a discussion.

And on Liara's birthday even?

Ok, here's a proposition:
I'll share my last scotch single malt whiskey (Edradour) with everybody who defies the depression of ending and "last goodbyes" discussions and drinks with me to Liara's health and a bright future for her and Shep - regardless of what Bioware may throw at us in the future!

That's the purpose of the Turquoise Lair after all ...

And have a happy Liara

Both are movies that left me rather... thoughtful, after watching them... I think Eternal Sunshine was the more depressing throughout, then Inception came out with a wicked curveball, not unlike ME 3, but definitely less depressing.

Exploratory melding huh.... how I'd like to probe Liara's mind... but really, I'd see no need for such a thing... unless you wanted to have an avatar there as a sort of... gatekeeper or similar... I guess?

lolwut? I'd say just about every gun but the Carnifex would have been sent away to some armory or another in those universes... no more guns to clean, just nappies.. In fact, I bet Shep would be sick of guns by then..

I think a lot of Shepards would be great parents. I certainly think mine would be suited for it. She really wants to just settle down and start a family after it's all over (And she WILL.)

@Sarcastic Tasha, no, there are some of us, who think that the whole thing was a joke. But thinking that Liara could be pregnant, isn't wrong either. Like some want Liara with mShep, some with fShep. Both is great. Personaly I wanted my Shep to open a bar, together with Aethyta and Liara on Thessia. ^^

Its the only kid in the ME universe I recall seeing so its the only thing I have to go on. Better not to take the risk I say. The kids in Dragon Age were annoying too, at least there was the option to kill one of them though (or give his soul to a demon for a laugh).
