Ok, here's a proposition: I'll share my last scotch single malt whiskey (Edradour) with everybody who defies the depression of ending and "last goodbyes" discussions and drinks with me to Liara's health and a bright future for her and Shep - regardless of what Bioware may throw at us in the future!
That's the purpose of the Turquoise Lair after all ...

Since we've briefly discussed melding...what do you guys think about, uhm, exploratory melding? Like do you think it's be possible for one to manifest an image of themselves in their own or their asari partner's memory and 'go for a tour' so to speak? Think Inception meets Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
I imagined any memories shared would be akin to living/remembering them yourself as though you were the person who originally experienced them.
Exploratory melding huh.... how I'd like to probe Liara's mind... but really, I'd see no need for such a thing... unless you wanted to have an avatar there as a sort of... gatekeeper or similar...
Nah, I just thought it'd be cool to have literal mindsex. And they could do it anywhere they've been before! A prothean digsite, Shepard's English Lit classroom, that park in Armali...
It's not very fancy or anything, but I felt like sharing it. Haven't written any fan fiction before so it might be a bit so-so, I don't know. Starts right after Anderson's death. My Shep is with Liara, of course. Oh, and there's supposed to be a Part 3 too.
I really like it so far.
Please post the rest i love it so far, great structure, i like how you broke it down into little 1/2 sentence sections it adds a bit of urgency to the reading, great dialogue *gives Tyrannic 2 thumbs up*.

I didn't find it depressing personally, maybe at the start but not at the end. I think its something about that music. Its an absolutely amazing piece and it starts out really sad but it builds up towards the end in a way which doesn't leave me thinking "oh god so sad" but leaves me thinking "yeah, screw that; screw the Reapers and screw fate, Shepard is alive and by god she's going to keep that promise".

Aethyta is amazing so I think thats a great idea. I always imagined my Shep travelling the galaxy with Liara as adventure archeologists. But I did love Liara's conversation with her dad so Shep and Liara would have to visit her often.

It depends are you a whovian, it's just a thing where someone makes a Doctor Who reference and then when i ask it's all "no i don't watch the show" or "I don't know what that is i just like the .gif". but I'm a huge LOTR fan to (I have a fantasy/sci-fi problem) and don't worry me and Liara are being very careful
The Omnitools talk is.... well.. just whatever you do don't google "Liara Omni Tool" it will burn you're eyes unless you're Maro or JLB or PMC you know one of our resident sex-fiends:P

Perhaps it's just me, but I'm not letting Samara teach her code to any daughter of mine. My kids are gonna remember that neck-snapping is wrong, hunting your daughter is unhealthy, and she will never leave the house with that much cleavage.
