Did anyone else catch Liara smoking in ME3? Okay not actually smoking but there was a lit **** in an ashtray right in front of her when she was chatting the Garrus on the Normandy. So maybe Liara is more of a smoker than a drinker.

Somebody pointed that out to me, but that cigarette is there (and still smoldering) whether anyone is in the room or not.

It has a smoke in there whether or not Liara is chatting with Garrus, actually. Or at least I think it is, some pics way back were put up to prove this.
Anyway, so long as there are no kids aboard the Normandy, and she's not pregnant, there ain't nothing stopping her from smoking. Heck, if she smoked enough she may even die at the same time as Shep, maybe she's playing the long game?

A very fine choice of words there!doozer12 wrote...

To our favorite Asari - so blue, so true!
Here's to each scene - romance long overdue.
A toast to her words, her efforts, her bewitching good looks.
Goddess bless Dr.T'soni, one of the best in our books.

Anyway, I think some people on this thread are already doing a fine job of feasting on pain and tears. No need to involve Bioware this time. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

I though all you Liara fans might
be interested in seeing this post where Ali Hillis is asking for a
little help for a fundraiser for one of her foster dogs that requires
some very expensive surgery. Here is a link to a video of Tucker.. Here is the link to the fundraiser page Make sure to follow the directions to make sure the money goes to helping Tucker!

In Mass Effect: Revelations it tells you that there are no more harmful side effects to smoking anymore since the diseases have been cured. So health issues don't apply to smoking ... man I wish I lived in those times! How I loved smoking.

So that's where I read smoking isn't unhealthy in ME.
On the subject of smoking and drinking. Nicotine, caffine and alcohol are the most popular drugs for humans. I wonder what drugs are the most popular for the asari. Maybe asari aren't into getting drunk, maybe they prefer to get high and that's more socially acceptable to them.
PMC65 wrote...
In my headcanon they actually don't get drunk but it is one more secret of theirs. They do have a fruit that is an asari aphrodisiac but it is potentially deadly to other species so no sharing.

I never imagined Liara as being much of a whisky drinker. I think she would be more likely to prefer a glass of wine, or something delicate.
Hey i gave her brandy
You mean the one you can buy in the hospital?
Thats a gift to Kaidan ya know?

She'd prolly be alright though, Shep drank a glass of poison once, I think she just has a strong stomach.

Can she handle Liara's cooking?
It's wicked bad.

I like that ideaShep would probably be tempted to try it though. My Shep seems like the sort that would eat turian/quarian food on a dare. She'd prolly be alright though, Shep drank a glass of poison once, I think she just has a strong stomach.

Oh come on... Let's be honest... Liara's good at everything.
Ooooh, like the idea, forbidden fruits are allways the best!PMC65 wrote...

I agree, wine sounds like her, but I wonder what type of alcohols if at all is drinked in Thessia?, maybe some of the stuff that was offered in Illium?
And since there is a huge customer base of young, wild maiden I'm sure they produce a fair share of "drinks that go *boom*" as well

That and the fact that the Cerberus upgrades actually work.
She's proper Space Marine now, elevated from the normal human and all that. This is why it took them 2 years to rebuild her.

Now I can see so many dark stories full of love, lust, deception and violence derive from that ... or maybe it's just heavily spiced up asari sex ... I could settle for that one tooHaha, did she try cooking that asari calamari recipe Gardner mentioned in ME2?jlb524 wrote...

€dit
:bandit:ed
And IDK, but if Liara got the chance to free her mind a bit from Reaper invasions and shadow broker business I could totally see her getting into the more ... exotic stuff for a bit. She's only 109 after all.
It's also possible that I just want to think that ... :innocent:
