I like it better before the suicide mission. Think the dialogue is more touching before, plus it just seems to make more sense to me. Personal preference I suppose.

Depends on how you want to play it.  I always saw LotSB as a Liara-mancing Shepard's version of a loyalty mission.  A way to clear the air and set things right with Liara so Shep could focus on the mission.  I then save the "date" for after the SM, 'cause it's a very nice thing to come back to!

or for explore the genetics history,

Asari have the same mental ability like the Prothean or some aspect.

lol, mind you Shepard is keeping a very close eye on proceedings, with her Claymore, no less. Heavy would be reduced to a heavy stain (hohoho) if he tried some funny business.

I romanced Liara in ME1 and in ME2 (of course). When I got to start
playing ME3 I imported my Shepard and the list said that 'didn't romance

Yes, that's what I got too. It's not a glitch or anything because they count romance only with your squad members (same goes for achievement) but Liara isn't one of them in ME2. So it also was for me that I romanced her in ME1 but didn 't have anyone in ME2 even I did roamnce option with Liara in shadow broker DLC.  Same thing with text on Mars she says that it's been years since they were together.

One of the writers (it was a woman, sadly I can´t remember her name) said that it was a bug which prevented the game from registering the romance in LotSB. There actually should have been a different conversation, if you had continued the relationship with Liara in ME2..

I kind of surprised everyone keeps thinking mind meld is Shepard getting raped. For all we know, Shepard is the one doing the raping, and Shiala and Liara are the ones forced to deal with it. But I guess some people are selfish, and only think of themselves, and not the well being of others. I mean, do you honestly think they want to go into Renegade Shepard's head? I don't think so.

Yes, the asari do remind of the protheans in that aspect. However as evidenced by Javik, protheans were capable of reading their surroundings too. The were basically the psychics of the ME universe.

Pff, I can't understand that. My love for Liara aside, she's a sweet girl, even as the Shadow Broker. People get pissy at her for no reason, be it mind meld or babbling about scientific stuff.
