Fits well with: Mass Effect 3 how it should've ended
Seriously, that Wingedmoggy gets their chemistry just right. Love them all.
Wow. That was amazing.

Well, too be fair, Liara gets a fairly large role in the trilogy: Plot integral in ME1, Redemption, LotSB (i.e. only ME1 LI to get some romance DLC), and now SB/plot provider in ME3, replacing Miranda as Shep's XO. That's fine if you like the character but otherwise... well...
Then there's the fact that she's unavailable but I don't get why that's negative - e.g. I don't like Grunt (pointless) or Miranda (myShep shot all Cerberus personnel on sight in ME1...) but that means that I'd preferred an option to not recruit them rather than wanting to kill them.

I don't see any issue with the Gif, it's no Bible Black. Okay so here's an intresting thought (Forgetting the ending of the game.) Do you think Shep and Liara being together (Post-ME3)would create a political shi*storm?

Not to derail the discussion, but maybe the blue babies aren't such a good idea. Over at the ba...in the Talimancers realm, we just thought about the kids we meet and hear about - we meet the Reaper AI, technically Grund is a kid, and we hear about the Quarian kid, Jonah. Which is the unluckiest Quarian kid we could come up with. I wish for Shepard to be happy even if his love interest is Liara, but maybe the game is...too dangerous to have babies in?

Hey guys I posted an article on my blog entitled "How Bioware Heavily Implies Liara Should Be Your Canon Romance" and would love to hear your thoughts if I made any mistakes or whatever. Where else should I turn to if not the Liara fans?
I also made an alternative Liara centered flashback for the ending which is embedded on the page. Hope you guys like it

Liara, Joker, Garrus and Tali get alot of
airtime and if I didn't like them well ... I would just have to deal
with it. I missed Ashley in ME2, wish that she had more content in ME3
and was romantically open to female Shepard but ... I just deal with it.
Bioware doesn't owe me anything ... except a better ending?
I
can understand someone not liking a character, there are some characters
in the Mass Effect world that I'm not a fan of, would have preferred to
not see them, etc ... but I don't foam at the mouth when my Shepard
acts all buddy-buddy. I just work it into that RPG ... like Shepard was
drunk when she went to talk to Jacob. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png
As
to the killing ... I don't get that. I never wanted to kill any of the
characters except the reapers and anything trying to kill Shepard. What
is it with "I would put XYZ in the airlock." Oh, well. To each his own.

Hey guys. Figured I'd report in after 5 years of staying faithful, across 8 Shepards.
Can anyone attest to ME3's Liara x FemShep romance working as intended? I keep finding reports of dialogue options not being available or events not triggering for FemShep specifically and I'm scared we get the short end of the stick again, like with the audible crying in Lair of the Shadow Broker. Everything seemed fine in my first playthrough, but I wouldn't know if something was indeed missing. I don't have any male Shepards to investigate this with.

Audible crying in LOTSB? Hmm, gotta replay that to know what you mean...
So far as we know, nothing is actually missing from Liara's dialogue, aside from the known bug where she says years instead of months, when mentioning when you two were last together.

As Kilshrek said we only know of a single line being bugged, and it does not affect anything nor is a particularily interesting line anyways
As for the audible crying it seems Males got a more emotional crying from Liara on LotSB due to a bug (femshep should have gotten it too but did not), I can not confirm since I only play MaleShep
Thanks! I can stop worrying now.Kilshrek wrote...

The romance portion of the DLC has it's own plot flag, "LiaraRomancedLotSB". It's possible it reads the main LotSB flag correctly, but not the romance one. Tweaking it in Gibbed's didn't change anything. The main reason I think it's not a bug, is that the game recognized that
me and Liara defeated the Shadow Broker together, but it still didn't
change the dialogue for how long they've been together. And both of
those statements were during the same conversation.

That flashback clip was amazing! I specially like how it ended on a good note it been so sad an all, the only bad thing I can say about it is that it uses the horrible Synthesis ending
As for whether Liara is some sort of "writer's pet" I can not comment since I have only ever romanced Liara so I have no window of comparison.
Melancholic wrote...

There's a bug in Lair of the Shadow Broker that causes a sound file of Liara crying (immediately after the boss fight) to not play for FemShep. Way back when there was a thread full of angry FemSheps about it. Even though the scene is otherwise identical for males and females, they never bothered to fix it...

Just quickly, I think the lack of VS is more due to their Alliance duties, than any lack of concern for Shepard. Like Adams said, they can't just up and leave their post, no matter how they feel.
