Let's put it this way - most couples tend to eventually want kids. So it's matter of when, rather than if, this happens:

You know that there is nothing you could say that would stop this group of breeders from making their freakin' blue babies, right? It's like mad cow disease ... no help, hope or sanity.

Childfree irl, lurker/poster over at tcfl, but Shep/Liara can have all the little blue children they want.

Muahaha, you and whose army, huh, PMC? :P

No help, hope or sanity with you guys ... Mad cow breeders I say.

I just let you ramble on about blue babies and think of Liara in the captain's quarters with Shepard enjoying each other ala Nekked. No problems here.

Here's a man(?)(sorry, but I'm assuming) who can see some sense! You may lie to yourself all you want, but Liara's gonna see those cute little asari kids running around one day and give you a look, and you know you're doomed.

Bah, you're just afraid that the kids will actually make you happier than frolicking about in bed. Which is no bad thing in itself, mind. And just think, those kids will have the best babysitters in the galaxy... If only Legion survived, he'd make the awesomest babysitter... And you could fob them off to one of the crew for a couple of days and raunch up anywhere you like. Benefits, woman, benefits!

I liked the part where she says... "when I first touched you, I knew it was you" Something like that  I cried during that moment in London, I wasn't ready to say goodbye! I want my Asari children, not in the ending but you get what I mean ^_^

I liked that Shep finally had a chance to say that coming back from the dead had troubled her (ME2 Shep is such a robot compared to ME3 Shep) and Liara's response was the icing on the cake.

Liara's farewell was so sad, 'twas like they knew they wouldn't get their happily ever after.

That is one of the things I liked on ME3 I can chose to have Shep show some insecurities and other such emotions, like if he where... you know a human being , ME1 and 2 where horrible at that

I just got to Tuchanka on my insanity playthrough and noticed Wrex line about Shep and Liara when asked if he is settling in on the Normandy, "I didn't got a window like Liara has, but maybe that is because I don't kiss as good" , I thought it was hilarious line and a nice touch too, the beauty is on the details after all :)

Goddess, the blue babies are returning. Liara's only young so Shep probably doesn't have to worry about Liara getting broody. Suppose she only really has to worry about herself, but I don't see the Butcher of Torfan getting broody any time soon.

Nope ... Liara does not want children as of yet and Shepard will not live long enough to see her reach the matron stage so all is good on this side of the Universe. Liara will have children later on and with someone she cares very deeply about. Shepard would have loved knowing that Liara went on to live a full life with other loves and children of her own.

However, if your Liara wants babies ... I will send baby stuff your way!

As I always say, to each his own. Image IPB

Yes.

On unrelated news, I dug out DA:O again. BW devs sure are fond of unsafe conditionals (if it's not A, then it must be B... unless they add C later)

Oooooh, sticking to the maiden guns I see. Your canon, your call.

I'm short sighted that way though, don't mind me. And do send baby stuff, blue babies actually, I've seen enough human babies. They bite. And cry. And poop. And barf. And cry. :D

I thought it was the devil that's in the detail?

ME1 had the scene by the locker and that was it. LotSB was about the only time in ME2 that Shep admitted to having feelings, although to be fair no one but Liara really bothered to ask. I'm glad Shep had more chances to say how she was feeling in ME3. Not sure if I preferred angry Shep or insecure Shep.

We won't be having such talk 'round these parts, y'hear? There will be a happy ending.. *strained face*

But I guess that's one of those moments that again holds so much value in so many different ways to different people, some see it as an acknowledgement of fate.. I chose to see it as that kiss for luck, and, in case I never get to tell you again, I love you... sort of thing. There was doubt, but so many things were riding on the outcome of the battle, not just their future..

top?

Hmm.. I'll just link this one I guess.. I like it, 'cause it's all sorts of funny, as usual..

Shepard thinks with Portals!

edit : derp spelling

I really love that comic from Wingedmoggy, she makes ART when she takes the pencil and the paper<3
the part in which shep's on bed really cracked me "dammit it felt so real!, Liara was...  She was... She was right here!!" and also Liara's answer put some humour there "Hey I'm still here" ... I love that:wub::wub:

Talking about Wingedmoggy's art, I also Like this one:
Shepard spoke too soon.
(This is the first time I post hyperlinks, so I'll post too the normal link to see it if my hyperlink doesn't work)

....? What? Where did this come from?

You know what they say,  "When you have nothing nice to say....."

In order to deflect from another negative comment, allow me to post a funny, again, from my favourite comic in the galaxy.

edit : Also, if anyone has read the Shepard vs Karaoke comic, this is the version of the song Wingedmoggy says Shepard is singing to Liara.

Eh...I love Liara but its kinda hard to describe me as a lesbian...what with being a guy and all...

Edit: That said I think it would be quite interesting to see the demographics in terms of gender of who choses which romance option.

I loved that line, I had to reload my save just to take a screenshot of that! lol My reaction was the same as Shepard's "uh no comment". Does anyone else make comments about your relationship with Liara?

Humans in the ME universe live to the age of 150, and Shepard being rebuilt as a cyborg probably extended her life expectancy beyond that. Little blue babies are a realistic possibility.

No, I'm a bloody straight male. But sometimes, I wish I were a female lesbian haha. It would've been an interesting experience given the fact that "2 females enjoying each other". Yep, epic sight.

I shamefully admit most of that went over my head.

For example, at the landsmeet the game checks, in order, if the PC is a dwarf or an elf or a mage. If he is neither, he gets to marry Anora. That's bad programming practise because it assumes a lot about the values. If another human origin (or qunari, or whatever) was added later (possibly by a mod) then this would break the script.

Honestly the age thing doesn't matter. What matters is your interpretation of Asari biology and sexual development in terms of reproductive capabilities.

Some believe that they can't have children sub-350 or so at all. Others believe they can.

Shh! PMC was already huddling in a corner with some shady characters... There's a conspiracy about these parts! They intend to kidnap Liara! I'm sure of it!

/randomness

I'll be off soon, just... uh... killing time? :D

Aaah.. I kind of see.. Perhaps that's why they got rid of the human commoner? I forget the development stories of DAO really.. But how easy would such a thing be to plug? Sorry for dragging this off topic. If you don't want to continue in this thread, I'd appreciate a small informational PM, Alex.

Back to Liara.

Seriously? This just made me crack up like a crazy. I'm a girl who uses Male Shepard cause frankly I wasn't that impressed by the romance options for Femshep. Kaidan is alright but I think my Derek Shepard looks more handsome  Garrus? Nah, more of a friend... Jacob "The Prize" Taylor? No way.  Not a fan of Femshep/Liara, just saying! It is interesting though that most of the art here is for Femshep/Liara.
