I actually bought XIII solely because Ali Hillis did the voice of Lightning. I'm not a fan of Final Fantasy at all and she was the only reason I bought the game and I actually enjoyed the game. I did spend most of the game picturing everything that Lightning did then being done by Liara though and it made the game far more amusing for me than it was intended to be (except for that scene where Fang decided to check Lightnings brand because that was funny all on it own). So when Light would punch Snow, I'd picture Liara punching Wrex. It gave me some entertaining mental images and got me through many of those repetitive fights.

I take it you haven't played all of them?Sorry, but square-enix can do ALOT better then that failure. I have played the game and beaten it once. I only still own it because it would be stupid to have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,10-2,11,12,14 and not 13.

As far as FF goes I still think that X takes the cake although the combat system, and of course the graphics were great in XIII i didn't think the story developed as well as in X,  oh well we're off topic again.  so....not including Ali Hillis who would you accept to voice Liara?  (this is a hypothetical  I like everybody love Ali's va beyond compare) 

Yeah I agree about X. The combat system was a bit iffy in 13, not as horrible as 12's but still. Anyway this is goign way off topic..Hmmn that's a good question I will have to get back to you on that.

Same here Yuqi except i used to own all of them, i got rid of them as i replaced my consoles also don't have 14 or 13-2 but you have to agree that 13's combat system was off the charts for a FF game.

Make,r not this again. Okay I'm going to give some very basic marketing points here.

1 (Golden rule) Sex Sells or 'Sexy' sells. What's one of the most standard clique's that sells? Yep, you guessed it! It's female/female!!

2- In terms of mass markets there're alot of different morals/religions/beliefs ect that must be considered.But they still want to use the number one rule.  So they need to cover their a**s So they make sexy,blue,female, and humanoid looking aliens. And because they are: monogendered,alien,dont reproduce the same way, they can't technically be considered 'lesbains' (Legally speaking.)

3- Romancing a human character, is going to be less awkward/freaky to  the  general public. SO alot of the males will go for Ashly,Jack,Kelly or Miranda.

Oh and the other LI for femshep are just not of the same quality, as msheps. Heck even straight females pick liara for femshep( myself included)

It's  a  brilliant strategy.

And I'm a straight guy and absolutely love Liara. I like Ash but I don't like her as much I love Liara or Tali or even Miranda (my renegade LI). I just think she isn't really fond toward aliens. However I really like her more in ME3. I do consider her as a close friend of my MShep (Michael) despite their differences.

Well it's nice to meet someone who does not falls head over heels for femshep voice {smilie}, I think my favorite VA on ME3 are Keith David and Martin Sheen both did an awesome job specially on the final confrontation, but yeah Alli Hilis was great as well {smilie}

If you two are trying to start a war, hating on Jen Hale will do it. Seriously, those are fighting words. There are a lot of people who can't stand Meer, yet you don't see any badmouthing from anyone here about his not so great voice voicing of Shepard.

I've always enjoyed Kari Wahlgren's work, though most of it has been quite different from Ali's Liara. It'd be interesting to hear her take.
