My paragon Ariel Shep, has saved all she could, but i want this play through to be different. And it has been:)
Uh huh. There is a small irony in sacrificing so many people to achieve an end. But I could really only ever play Paragons... Renegades scare me...

We really should've gotten something like that. Shepard standing in front of the memorial wall aboard the normandy, slowly moving his fingers across the names, no words are spoken.
Later during the celebration, Shepard gets up, holds a little speech, and ends with something honoring the dead.
I won't lie, Théoden's speech before the the charge made me tear up. I read it in the book but it didn't carry the same emotion as seeing a flesh and blood man saying the same words.
Shepard not being able have a little speech to honour the dead, or at least having one of Shepard's close friends honour Shepard for their sacrifice.... that seriously blows... I don't want no damn 10,000 years later totally irrelevant to the story character spout some stuff about The Shepard, I don't need the legend, I need the people who were there.

*A heavenly voice echoes from the void*
"I've Studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian"
Shepard: Wait did you hear that
James: What the humming.... you heard it to.... yes Loco, i'm not loco *runs out of room screaming in whoops of joy*
Shepard *under his breath* I didn't say anything about humming
*Voice again*
"Because I am a expert, which i know is a tautology"
Garrus: no, no i hear it to
*a blinding light flashes outside the window a etheral figure floats slowly down*
Liara: By the goddess is that....
Shepard: YES!!!!!! MORDIN I KNEW YOU COULDN'T BE DEAD HOW'S THE SEASHELLS ON THE SEASHORE BUDDY?
Mordin:
I am the very model of a scientist Salarian.... No still dead Shepard,
back from afterlife, seashells quite nice fun to dissect, not as fun as
angels though, wings interesting evolutionary detail, guess humans had
right, also i met reaper on way down he says **** you
Shepard: Oh.... doesn't matter Mordin you're here now *wraps Mordin's spirit in hug*
Y'know, even though huggles are usually reserved for Liara, I'm sure she'd make an exception for the ghost of Mordin.

But ... but ... Casey said the end was inspiring and uplifting!? [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png[/smilie]
I think he was speaking to the grimdark crowd at the time, the rest of us were behind the door so he cleverly didn't address us, not actually.

I'm not sure he'd take too kindly to that, but, eh. He's too small to complain. He may be able to headbutt you in the knee though.

Well... I guess indoc theory is all we've got. Or simply ADDING endings, in addition to the ones that already exist.
I'm not touching any of it if it doesn't have a reunion for Shep and Liara. Simple as that. No more of my money will go to this if it doesn't appeal to me.
