Is the reason a FemShep/Ashley romance hasn't been confirmed yet because this romance outcome would overshadow the saving of the galaxy? 

I believe the answer here is yes.

I would probably make a brand new game from ME1 just for this. I Ash, be it as Shep's best friend/most loyal companion. Never made a MaleShep to have the fix since I could never make a MaleShep I could like.

I have a 4th FemShep planned just in-case Ash is confirmed to be a s/s option. :3 I've been hoping for it since ME1, so fingers are crossed that BW will make it happen!

My favorite FemShep mostly romanced and killed Kaiden, then to keep the tradition alive, did the same thing to Jacob. I did that because I thought it was hilarious to make her a black widow. I'm torn between having her settle down and having her go on with her wicked ways in ME3. I've decided, if Ashely is a LI, my FemShep will settle down with Ash.

Because Homicidal Lesbian Galactic Superhero just amuses me.

Additionally, I just really like Ashley.

I'm not trying to start a flame war here, so hear me out. (I also don't know if you're being serious, so I'm pretending you are.)

"Religious" isn't synonymous with "heterosexual", and I always tick an eyebrow when people give this as a reason why Ash couldn't be a bisexual LI. I have several gay/bisexual friends who are perfectly secure in their religious beliefs.

Hell, if Bioware wants to go that route, they can have Ash struggle with her religion vs. her sexual orientation. I can see why they might not want to, though, given the vast amount of media panties that would twist and then fly off into space.

Anyway, my point is that her being Christian shouldn't have anything to do with her being a bisexual LI.
