you do know that Mordin MAkes a bunch of excuses to not talk to Shepard

so it could mean nothing, and could not be related to kelly at all

anyway i do hope the kelly romance dialogue would have some sense of hesitation, unlike the obvious flirts in ME2.

Kelly could quite easily be paired up with a number of people if not with Shepard. From those we've encountered, I'd have her paired up with either Thane or Shiala. For either of these, I could see the relationship evolving from therapeutic talking (i.e. Thane's relationship with his son or Shiala's dealings with the thorian/Zhu's Hope) to a full romance.

I am rather narcissistic so it is hard for me to imagine Kelly with anyone else.

I am interested in how Kelly Chambers will be reintroduced as well. I will be glad if she returns, but I am hoping that if the player chooses she can return to the Normandy to continue her old duties. I enjoyed her reaction to each of the mission in ME2.

Does it really have to be someone we know? It's not like she has to hook up with someone in the cast. What's your reasoning on Dr. Chakwas and Shiala, though? I'm only about halfway through my Kelly LI run, so am I missing something or is this just wishful thinking?

When I am being asked the question, who I would pair her up with of course I am going to name characters we know, you could very well say it doesn't make sense for Shepard to only be interested in the predefined LIs, when theoretically she could very well fall for anyone in the Galaxy and of course when I am being asked the question, who I would pair her up with I will name characters, that I wish to see her with and not go through any goddamn possiblity out there.
Kelly is a very open person and already written to react to Shepard's input, the talk about Thane would be an example. Kelly says she likes Shepard more and more, regardless of what Shepard says about Thane, which can be very different, so it's very hard to say, what she actually likes in another person.
All three are characters we know very little about, so there is hardly anything to miss, my projecting who they are beyond what we see plays a role in why I picked them.
I don't really feel the need to explain why that is, because of the lack of a deeper characterization of Kelly, Chakwas and Shiala not everyone has to see it my way. It is simply my personal impression, that they would work well together as couples. Maybe I will give that explanation later on, after all, we'll see.

Dr. Chakwas seems an odd choice to me, but I can totally understand Shiala.  Both she and Kelly are 'people persons' and their personalities are so compatible that it would make sense for them to take a liking to each other instantly.

Fair enough, I was more interested to know if there was something I had missed either in ME (which I wasn't able to play) or had yet to see in ME2, not criticizing your impressions of the characters.

He, since I have been coming here I have seen the term "wishful thinking" in an accusatory fashion often enough and I refuse to see wishful thinking in regard to a video game, that isn't even out yet as something negative, but I might have gotten a wrong impression about the tone of your post.
I think, Kelly and Chakwas have a few things in common. They are both serving on a military vessel in a job that is supposed to better the condition of the crew, Kelly as a psychologist and Chakwas as a physician. They are both a little isolated in their position, I can see them having similar problems and they might bond over this, if they started sharing their experience. I see the appeal an experienced woman might have for Kelly. Chakwas is completely undefined, when it comes to romantic interests so everything is possible.

Yes, yes and that would be great in the epilogue, so long as theyn survive the Reaper invasion, her sister will most likely be on Earth during the invasion

That doesn't make much sense since the only Shepard that has family is the "spacer" Shepard. Colonist and Eather are orphans. Besides, who wants to meet anyone's family. It's the future, and in space, I think there are other formalities in place by now.
